The Mass Article Marketing Strategy

I won’t go into too much detail with this strategy simply because it’s not as effective as the first strategy and should be used as a sub strategy. As a word of caution: Never primarily use this mass article marketing strategy as it has potential risks…
In a nutshell, mass submitting involves manually writing, spinning, and submitting articles to hundreds of article directories. When you first hear it, it sounds like a great strategy, as all it takes is one spun article to build hundreds or potentially thousands of backlinks.
In case you don’t know, spinning is where you use spintax to turn one word, phrase, or sentence into multiple words, phrases, or sentences. So you could take “the large cat went up the tree” and turn it into “the {big|large|great|fat|massive|huge} {cat|dog|mouse} {went|climbed} {up|up above} {the tree|the big tree}.”
When you spin an entire article like that and use a piece of software, it will randomly generate different variations each time it submits to a directory. So, in theory, every article directory gets a “unique” variation of your article. One variation might be “the fat dog climbed up above the big tree.” You get the idea…
In theory, it sounds like the best option. When mass submissions first came about, they were far more effective. But now, one hundred spun article links are only as powerful as 1-10 unique article links. Most SEOs go about mass submissions the wrong way.
They write an article, automatically spin it, and then submit to as many article directories as they can. A lot of the time, SEOs just steal articles off existing sites or use PLR content for their submissions. Stealing articles and spinning them to make your own does not work.
Neither does using PLR articles, hardly. PLR (private label rights) articles are quite popular among SEOs and Internet Marketers. However, the results just don’t compare to using your own articles. That’s what you need to do.
Manually write and manually spin your articles for submission. To the point where every spun variation reads perfectly and doesn’t look like a computer-generated piece of crap. If you’re going to spin, then every variation must make sense and be unique. Those are the two rules.
The last metric is really the article directories you submit to. Most mass submitters submit their articles to far too many directories. As a rule of thumb, avoid article directories with a Page Rank of less than 2. Getting links from PR1 and 2 sites is essential, but too spammy for article marketing.
You should only submit your spun articles to 100-200 high Page Rank article directories. It’s been proven time and time again that 100-200 links from high Page Rank article directories are far more effective than 1000-2000 links from low-quality, no Page Rank directories.
To submit your spun articles, you can use a tool like Article Marketing Robot or outsource the submissions to an online service. Your best option is using Article Marketing Robot, the #1 rated article submission tool on the net.
That’s pretty much all there is to mass submissions. Manually writing, spinning, and automatically submitting articles to 100-200 high Page Rank article directories. The key is in the high-quality spun articles and high Page Rank article directories.
The problem with mass submissions and black hat SEO, in general, is that most of the links you build never get indexed. So if you want the best results, you need to take an extra step to get your links indexed.
There are literally hundreds of different ways to index backlinks. The most common of all is to simply build more links to them.
While these mass submissions are effective today, I doubt they will be in the long run. Google is getting a lot better at identifying spun content. They can practically spell it.
Their web spam team is actively hunting down spun content and penalizing those who’ve been using it. While it is more about the quality of your spun content and where you submit it, it may still get you in trouble in the future even using this “safe” strategy.
This is why I opt to only use this strategy secondarily. Don’t let that scare you off. As long as you’ve established some kind of root domain authority and a group of base white hat backlinks, you’re good to go. Just remember, submitting spun content will lead to huge jumps in rankings.
Don’t get greedy; use it sensibly and secondarily… Period.

This is really interesting, but I’m not sure I agree with the effectiveness of spun articles. Would love to see some more proof of success with this method.

I’ve tried mass article submissions before and had mixed results. Do you have any tips on how to improve the quality of spun articles?

Great post! I’ve been using this strategy for a while now, and it has definitely helped boost my rankings. Just be careful with overdoing it, Google is getting smarter every day.

This strategy sounds risky with the way Google is updating its algorithms. Do you think it’s still worth using in 2024?

Hmm, I’m a bit skeptical about this approach. How can we be sure that spun content won’t get penalized by Google’s algorithm? Is there any solid proof or case studies you can share?

Can you explain a bit more about the tools you recommend for spinning articles? I’m curious if there are any free options or affordable alternatives for beginners.

I appreciate your strategy, but I think there are better ways to get high-quality backlinks without risking penalties. Manual outreach to websites seems like a more sustainable approach.

This reminds me of a time when I was struggling with SEO on my own website. I tried article spinning, but I didn’t see much success until I started writing more original content. It’s good to know that spinning can work if done right.

I’ve been using Article Marketing Robot for a while now, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable tool. It’s saved me tons of time on submissions!
