Two testimonials, both anonymous-sounding names, both claiming the same kind of dramatic turnaround inside months. In every business I’ve seen financed off a sales page like this, the actual median outcome for someone who buys today is nowhere near either testimonial. The page shows you the top of the distribution and calls it typical.
I bought a course built exactly like this one three years ago — same bullet list structure, same ‘and much more,’ same two testimonials up front. Week two was where the actual training turned out to be old videos with different branding pasted over the intro slide. Down to the two-testimonial format itself — first one dramatic, second one shorter and vaguer, like it was added just to make the page feel less thin. I counted eleven modules in that old course description before I bought it. Nine of them were repackaged screen recordings from a webinar dated two years earlier, timestamps and all, still visible in the corner of the video for anyone who looked. Not saying that’s what’s happening here. Just noting the format is identical to something I’ve already been burned by once.
Kelsey, we called that repackaging trick ‘evergreen content’ in 2011 too. Different decade, same old videos, same fresh coat of branding on the thumbnail.
‘2 billion active users’ as a pitch line doesn’t tell me anything about the six hours a week I actually have between night shifts. Scale of the platform isn’t the same thing as time available to use it.
Nia, turned into a process: input is your six hours, throughput is however long content creation plus engagement actually takes per post, output is whatever reach the algorithm grants that week. The page skips the throughput step entirely — it moves straight from input to output with no visible middle stage. That’s the part any real system needs a number for.
Sorry if this is a silly question, but do either of those two testimonials say how long they’d actually been trying before this?
