Part of the guide: MLM Reviews: The Honest Index

Howdy, my name’s Eric and first off I’d like to thank you for checking out my review of the 15k formula. I’ve been online for over a year and I have to say the 15k training is some of the best stuff on the market, and it’s not even completed yet! I’m not the kind of person to beat around the bush, and I’ll tell you this much; the 15k training has more meat and potatoes in it than courses 5 times its size and 10 times the price.
Here’s the honest truth. I was signed up for a very well-known SEO training course that came out on the first of December and I actually got my money back after going through the SEO section in the 15k. Do you want to know why I dropped the other course and stuck with the 15k training? Well it’s simple, the other SEO course was pretty in depth, but I learned more from one segment of the 15k formula than I did in 3 modules of other SEO course. Now, to be fair, I didn’t go through the entire course (because I got a refund) and the SEO section in the 15k formula was almost more than I could comprehend anyway.
There are a lot of people who think that in order to be successful online you have to be a guru. They think that there is some kind of tool they can buy that will get magic traffic to their website. I’m here to tell you that everything you need to know about making money online is in the 15k training.
After absorbing all the great information in the 15k training I figured, “Why do I need yet another course to go through? Why don’t I just learn everything I can from the leaders of the Empower Network and apply it instead of going through trainings all day and night?”
Listen, I could go on and on about how great the 15k formula is but don’t take it from me, just listen to the testimonials of some other satisfied students of the 15k training. Watch out because these guys look dangerous, well everyone except Carl, who lays it all out for you.

You have been paid late before
You have watched the number on the dashboard not match the number in your account. What is different now is simple: it settles on a public contract you can check yourself, not a dashboard I control.
Read the contract →Most participants earn little to nothing. No income is guaranteed. You can verify every payout on the public smart contract.
I couldn’t agree more Eric, the 15k formula is not just brilliant but actually very underpriced. I really shouldn’t be surprised because everything in Empower Network follows the same flow, massive quality for crazy affordable prices.

I appreciate the detailed comparison with other SEO courses. This review has helped me decide on taking the 15K training. Thanks, Eric!

Thank you for this comprehensive review. The insights on the 15K Formula are very helpful. I’m looking forward to starting the training.

Most affiliates earn little, and that is disclosed up front. The difference here is not a promise about what you will make. It is that you can verify every payout yourself, on a public contract, in about twelve seconds.
See how the payout works →Most participants earn little to nothing. No income is guaranteed. You can verify every payout on the public smart contract.

Having sat on the company side of programs built this way, I can tell you the pattern here — an affiliate reviewing a company’s own training as a customer testimonial — is standard field marketing, not organic enthusiasm. That doesn’t make the content useless, but ‘I got a refund on someone else’s course after comparing it’ is a persuasion technique taught in trainings like this almost word for word. Worth knowing before reading it as an independent opinion.
Renata, so in plain English — this is an ad, written to look like a review, and the trick is it also teaches you to write the same kind of ad. Have I got that right?
Renata, we called this testimonial marketing back when it was cassette tapes instead of blog posts. The format survives because it works, not because anyone in 2012 or now checks whether Eric actually got that refund.
Gus, fair on the format being old, but I think what’s being missed is that the comparison-shopping instinct Declan mentions below is genuinely useful, whatever wrapper it arrives in. The packaging is dated. The habit of testing a cheaper course first isn’t.
Whatever Carl’s testimonial actually says, it’s the one part of this that reads like an actual person instead of a script.
What strikes me isn’t the formula at all, it’s the refund story — getting your money back from one course after learning enough from another to realize the first was overpriced. That’s actually a decent way to shop, if it’s true. I’ve done the same thing buying bike components, tried the cheap one first, learned what mattered, then bought the right part. Same thing happened with drivetrains — bought the bargain groupset first, ground through two winters of it skipping under load, and only then understood why the pricier one existed. The post’s version compresses that whole learning curve into ‘I got a refund after one segment,’ which is the tell. Real comparison shopping leaves scars and specifics, which chainring stripped, which lesson stuck. This story has neither, just ‘three modules’ as a number with nothing behind it. Whether Eric’s version happened the way it’s told here is a separate matter entirely.
Bought the cheap part first. Still ended up buying the right one anyway.
Declan, nice comparison, but some of us don’t have the spare hours to run two courses side by side just to find out which one’s honest.
Declan, the comparison instinct is fine. What I keep coming back to is the ‘hit the like button’ line at the end — asking for engagement before anyone’s had a chance to try the thing being sold. That’s not a business point, that’s a tell about what the post is actually for.
