‘Secret meetings at an undisclosed location’ unveiling a commission structure is such a specific choice of words for what turns out to be a sign-up page. I over-prepare on everything I ship, but even I know that when launch copy sounds like a heist movie, the actual mechanism underneath is usually the least interesting part of the pitch.
I am curious how ‘founding member’ status and this commission structure would even function for someone outside the US market, since so much of the excitement here seems to assume American payment processors and an audience already primed by prior launches. Has anyone actually tried this from a different country?
Elif, I think what’s being missed in most answers to your question is that the payment mechanics rarely change across borders, but the trust mechanics do. A ‘secret meeting’ framing that reads as exciting urgency to one audience reads as a warning sign to another. Worth testing locally before assuming the launch language translates.
What happens to the members who don’t hit that number in month one?

In every business I’ve financed, the founders who make that kind of prediction publicly are describing the best possible outcome as if it were the typical one.
