When you’re writing an article marketing article, you should remember that not all articles are read. In fact, all articles that reach the top of the search engines took time to get there. So remember that boosting your articles to reach the top takes time, but is more than possible.

Tip 1 – Target longtail keywords. Try targeting really long keywords for your first set of articles. This way, you can start experience seeing your articles at the top of the search engines. Most longtail keywords get searched about twenty to thirty times each month, and if you are trying to sell something and the keywords are extremely targeted, you could easily make a few sales.

Tip 2 – Try to write at least one article each day. If you have a website that you’re trying to get ranked, then you should try writing an article each day pointing to your site. What’s the point of writing five articles in a day if you’re going to stop after that? Write one article each day and you will see your site reach the top.

Tip 3 – Outsource. There are several sites online that actually provide articles and content to people for only a few dollars. Outsource your articles to these companies online and you will surely save a massive amount of time.

Tip 4 – Create a link wheel. Try creating a link wheel with your articles. Link wheels are basically when you link one article to another and keep going. These are perfect especially to boost rankings for a website.

Tip 5 – Try sending articles to different directories. Don’t focus only on Ezinearticles or Articlesbase. Instead, keep expanding and writing to as many as you can. You will surely create more success this way.

Tip 6 – Remember to include only one keyword at first. Most marketers focus too much on ranking for 5 or even 10 keywords, then they end up not getting ranked at all. Try focusing on one keyword and once you see that you are able to get ranked for only one keyword, start expanding.

Tip 7 – Try using an article marketing automation software. These softwares are great to use because they could help you be more productive and save time. Whether you want to use a rewriting software or a software that makes articles for you, they will surely help you save lots of time.

No matter how good you are, educating yourself about different article marketing strategies is always a must. Creating an article marketing article is much different than creating a normal article, so try putting in the advice above so you can reap the benefits.

You have watched the number on the dashboard not match the number in your account. What is different now is simple: it settles on a public contract you can check yourself, not a dashboard I control.

Great tips! I’ve been struggling with getting my articles to rank higher, and these strategies seem like they’ll be really helpful.

I especially like the idea of targeting longtail keywords. It makes sense to start small and gradually build up to more competitive terms.

Thank you for these tips, Keyanna! Do you have any recommendations for the best article marketing automation software?

Creating a link wheel sounds interesting. I haven’t tried that before. Looking forward to giving it a go.

  1. ‘Twenty to thirty searches a month’ for a longtail term and ‘500 a month, 300 acceptable’ for a blog post keyword are two different thresholds presented as one strategy. Which is actually being recommended? A term getting thirty searches split across competitors converts very differently than one getting five hundred.

    1. Sorry if this is a basic question, but does writing one article every single day for fifty days actually work if you already have a full time job?

      1. Bonnie, short answer: not at that pace, not with a job. I tried the one-a-day approach during a stretch when the kids were finally in a groove and made it eleven days before something broke it. The tip that actually survived translation to my schedule was picking one keyword at a time instead of five, since that part is really about focus, not output volume.
