Multi-level Marketing (MLM) business creates an opportunity to develop a business that has the ability to generate passive income. Passive income is income that is reoccurring but only requires a onetime effort. This differs from most traditional methods of income, because they only provide revenue once, as opposed to passive income which may provide revenue on a regular basis. In order for an MLM to create this passive income you need to provide a way to duplicate your efforts; this is why it is important to network, and how networking can create a lucrative MLM.
MLM’s are a method of conducting business that is designed to generate passive income for all those that are involved. In standard business practices you earn a commission for your sales and that is most likely the only time you will see pay for that action. In MLM business you receive a commission for your sale and also receive pay for any sales that your recruits have made.
As your recruits get recruits and these recruits make sales then you and your recruit make get paid on their sales. This process of duplication creates an organization within in your MLM business that provides passive income for you and others within that organization. This passive income increases proportionately to the growth of your organization.
In time if this done correctly, then the passive income that is generated becomes substantial and your income for your organizations business exceeds your income from your own sales. It is easy to see that this is a more lucrative way to create a business. This potential for passive income is what is creating such an interest in MLM style businesses.
This process is not possible if you do not develop the size of your organization. If you only have person in your MLM then it is a SLM (single level marketing), obviously you cannot create the passive income discussed above if you have a SLM. Consequently you need to find ways to develop this organization, this is not done like most businesses where you would simply hire individuals to fill jobs. You need to recruit people in order to create your MLM organization, this is done through networking.
Networking for your MLM is similar to networking with facebook or other websites; you simply create situations in which you can talk to people. In order to recruit a prospective person for your organization you have to create an interest, this interest is generated by talking to individuals who may become recruits. Obviously to talk to people you need to be able to get exposure to new people.
Your MLM organization will not grow if you do not create situations where you are in contact with new people. You can use your friends as your initial contacts and attempt to recruit them for your organization but there will come a point where you no longer have friends to select from. Therefore it becomes necessary to gain more friends, this will obviously require taking steps to meet more people, and this process is networking.
Networking is not difficult but it is mandatory if you are going to get enough exposure to enough new people to create an organization for your MLM. As you network either in person, such as clubs or any other social activity, you will create new opportunities to talk about the business, thereby hopefully creating new recruits and in turn generating passive income through a substantially large MLM organization.
