GoPro Book Review – My Thoughts on Eric Worre’s MLM Kung Fu

GoPro Book Review – My Thoughts on Eric Worre’s MLM Kung Fu

I didn’t get this out as early as I wanted, but here’s my thoughts about Eric Worre’s new book, ‘GoPro’

Eric Worre is one of the most brilliant Network Marketers I’ve ever met.

Some back story…

…in 2002, I got started in an old school deal, and I couldn’t recruit worth garbage.

I thought I was doing exactly what I was told to do, and it just wasn’t working.  One day, my brother Will snuck into a recruiting training for another company (Will sponsored me in my first deal) and recorded it.

It was Eric Worre.  Using what I heard in that training – I sponsored my first person, by bringing them to a meeting, and doing what Eric said to do in that audio.

Fast forward, it’s 2006.  I join 3 levels downline from Eric in a deal.  I see him, with my own eyes start with nothing, and put 50,000 people in a deal in a year or so – using all ‘old school’ strategies.  I also learned something fascinating.

Fast forward again, it’s 2011 – that fascinating thing that I learned becomes a back bone of starting Empower Network, and one of the core reasons why I’m able to duplicate a team entirely online, contradicting virtually every MLM trainer on earth.

Back to the book, and we’ll re-visit that thing I learned later.

So I have to be a bit different here, since I don’t do about half of the 7 things he talks about in that book, and right now am in the top 10 earners in all of MLM according to Business For Home.  (click here – we’re #8)

I don’t do those things, and I’m still going to tell you to buy Eric’s book, and read it.  Just go to Amazon, or wherever, and buy a few copies.

So why should you buy it, even though I don’t:

1.  Prospect (ever)

2.  Follow up in person (ever)

3.  Spend time making lists of personal contacts (ever)

…and there’s more, but let’s start there.

Watch the video above, and if if you pay attention, you’ll see why – something in that video will cause you to want to buy his book, I’m certain of it.

I love reading, and I personally devour around 8-12 books per month, following after a pattern of my mentors.  I read, because if I’m not learning, I can’t teach new things, and I can’t know new strategies, and new ways of being that create magic now – and life slips into the void of ‘mystery’.

Reading breaks down the mystery, especially if you read in an inductive way.

There’s a concept called ‘chunking’ – and I do it with everything, and I mention it in the video briefly, and I’ll teach you at a later time – what you’re going to find as you buy Eric’s book, and chunk up to the principles that guide the words that he speaks – is that literally every large team in direct sales becomes the way that it does being guided by the same principles – even when the strategies differ.

For example – I don’t prospect…

…or do I prospect in a different way?

I don’t make a list of my family and friends…

…or do I create new lists of contacts in a new and empowering way?

I don’t follow up in person, or close in person, or do 3 way calls…

…or am I leveraging the same principles to create results now, and doing it in a new way?

Read daily.  It’s one of the 8 core commitments in Empower Network, and it’s your time to start doing it now.

I think that it took me about 70 minutes or so to finish the book, and while I was reading it – something fascinating happened.  A fascinating thing that always happens when I read….

….I learned something new.

Now I’m not going to tell you what I learned – and for me, it was one concept, but I’ll give you some hints.

I didn’t decide to start prospecting.

Or making lists.

Or do 3 way calls.

Or pass out 3rd party tools to my contacts.

I learned something new – something I chunked up to a new principle – something that will make me another million dollars or more in 2013.

You can learn it, too.  By deciding to buy books written by people who by the nature of their habits become extraordinary, like you’re destined to be.

Pick it up, read it with the intent of learning something you can apply today, and get a new kind of results in your life and business.

Eric’s earned I think $15 million as a distributor in Network Marketing, and I’m PROUD of my friend for sharing his insights with the world.  There’s a new way of thinking that’s spreading through society – a new way of being, a new way of expressing – and you are the generation of badass that’s going to change the world.

Let’s create your vision together, and now you can read, grow, and be there with us, watching is awe – as you begin to step into YOU, and decide to be a ‘PRO’ in your own life… making the money you’ve always dreamed.

I’ll see you on the beaches of the world – and I’m curious if you’ll pick up what I’m talking about from the book!

Read it, and tell me what you learned in the comments.
