The 4 Step Formula For Unstoppable Success (Part 2)

2. Thoughts And Speech
Your daily input will determine your thoughts & the way you think. If you’re listening to the news all day and keep reading about how terrible everything is, how the economy is in turmoil and the unemployment rate is growing; you’ll think negatively.
If you cut out all of that from your life and change your brain’s input; crap won’t come out. Your whole way of thinking will change and it will have a profound effect on your life. Your thoughts and speech directly affect and almost control your beliefs. Your beliefs control everything. They control how your brain perceives the world on a biological level via the reticular activating system.
When your thinking changes, your speech changes. You’ll go from saying “that’s impossible” and “yeah right” to “that’s awesome” and “really? cool”. From “I can’t do that” and “that’s a lot of money” to “easy” and “pfff, that’s chump change”. How you speak about money is critical. If you speak like a poor person, you need to stop it RIGHT now.
STOP talking about how expensive things are, STOP talking about how you can’t afford things and start talking about how you ARE getting them. Not how you’re going to get things, but how you ARE getting them. You have to believe that your goals and “things” are coming to you no matter what. That it’s inevitable.
If you listen to rich people, a lot of them speak like a success book. Like attracts like. If you change your thoughts and speech, you will change your beliefs and values; from which you will change your entire existence from the inside out.
3. Action
Your action is how you use your energy. Your behavior, what you do during the day to get the results you want. With the right input, mindset and therefore thinking and speech; it’s hard not to get results in whatever you’re doing. Your actions will be determined by your thoughts/speech and their underlying beliefs.
However, if you’ve got a terrible business model or plan in general; you’ll just be making things more difficult for yourself. You need to have a vision. A powerful vision of what you are setting out to accomplish and the thing you’re going to solve and the people you’re going to help in the process.
The fundamental element of success is your reason why. Why are you doing it? For what purpose? Have a purpose, have a vision; make it BIG.
4. Commitment
Once you have that vision, an exact goal and know how and why you’re doing it; nothing can stop you. You just have to focus on it like nothing else exists. You have to commit to your vision. Every day, of every week.

I find it hard to believe that just changing thoughts and speech can have such a profound effect on your success. Do you have any evidence or examples where this approach has worked for others? Would love to hear more!

This is great advice, but I have a question. What would you suggest for someone who has been stuck in negative thinking patterns for a long time? How can they make the shift to more positive thoughts and speech?

While I appreciate the positive message, I feel like this post oversimplifies the complexities of success. Not everyone has access to the same resources or opportunities, and changing your mindset may not be enough for some.
