An inspiring image featuring a digital marketer working at a desk with motivational quotes on the wall, such as 'Stay true to yourself' and 'Make each day your masterpiece.' The workspace is bright and organized, with a computer, books, and a cup of coffee. In the background, a serene view of a sunrise through a window symbolizes new beginnings and potential. The color palette is warm and uplifting, with shades of orange, yellow, and light blue.

How To Put Your Socks On… Internet Marketing Style

How to put your socks on is inspired by the great John Wooden. One of the most beloved basketball coaches and an inspiration to anyone who has heard his ideology.

One of my favorite quotes from him is, “If you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not doing anything. I’m positive that a doer makes mistakes.” I relate this to the world of Internet Marketing. There are fundamental skills we must learn to be successful. One of them is being consistent in our actions. Taking tiny steps forward every day will always breed more action. Being in a hurry and expecting fast results will only cause frustration and disappointment.

This is a great reminder if you’re not seeing the success you want yet, just know that your efforts will pay off. If you are seeing some results but aren’t satisfied you’re going in the right direction, your marketing just might need a little tweaking. Ask yourself what you learned and what you can do better. Look for guidance from the leaders who have paved a way for us. You’ll find out their stories of struggle in the beginning are similar to yours.

How to put your socks on… is a great example of getting down to the basics and letting go of the ego. If we take time to learn the industry and apply the methods as we go along, we will be in far better shape than trying to do it all at once. Keep it simple at first until you’ve mastered at least one skill.

John Wooden’s Seven Point Creed

Be true to yourself.
Make each day your masterpiece.
Help others.
Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
Make friendship a fine art.
Build a shelter against a rainy day.
Pray for guidance and give thanks for your blessings every day.

We all want to be the best at what we set out to conquer. We want to stand out from the masses and be important. We love to receive credit for our accomplishments and be recognized for our talents and gifts. Being humble, staying true to our integrity, and following through with consistent action will set a pace of honest expectations.

We all have unique characteristics to share with the public. We have the opportunity to provide a service to countless individuals who are looking for a change. Creating your own unique style of service in Internet Marketing is a viable business (and portable).

In the online marketing space, it can be a lonely place sometimes… like we are all on our own island yet trying to catch the same fish. In some ways, this might be true for some. For others, it’s far from the truth because abundance is all around us. Social media is allowing us to share each other’s content, breaking down the barriers of what some call competition. There’s room for all of us to shine!

If you feel like you’re goin’ at it alone – know that there are groups of entrepreneurs in this community that are here to guide you. We are looking to align with people who are hungry for success. Those who are willing to work with a vision of purpose. To succeed beyond your wildest imagination and build your dreams to fruition. Together, using the power of unity to support a sustainable online business, we are unstoppable!

Always be learning thus growing thus sharing thus giving thus abundantly full of life! Continue working towards your dreams! If you don’t have a total vision of what you want and need some clarity, contact me… I’m here to assist you!

Always in service and prosperity,

Carey Rapier
