Haha! Dude I’m watching this and saying things before you say them because I remember all of this…. I do remember the look on your face when you said “Dude I’m gonna marry that girl” and I looked at you and said “You’re serious arent you?” and you simply said “yep, I’m sure of it” I could tell by the look on your face that you were dead serious.
But you’re exactly right, some of the major defining moments in my life have been when I made a decision to do something on the spot although I had no plan and no strategy or knew how to even go about it. But I did it anyway and it all worked out… So I totally agree… you never know until you try.. or try again. Even with past prospects that you have tried to sponsor in and they werent ready, you never know until you try again and sometimes they are ready.

Hi David: I loved this. You never know what decisions you make or don’t make and how that changes your life. I’ve done things that were based on my gut and other people would have called me crazy, but I was glad I took the risk.
My life has been filled with moments like that , some good , some not so good. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
No matter what it is if you believe you can I am willing to bet you can. If we could get rid of all of the negative trash out of our head we would be a lot better off.

Hey David, great story, I had a similair experience with my wife when I first meet her, however the fruit that joined us together was “plums”, I met her coming from across the street with a jar of plums in her hand, she and her sister and a girlfriend had just finished raiding the neighbors plum tree as I just happened to be driving thru the neighborhood,in my MGB sportscar, while on leave in the Air Force, one hot summer day and I saw this beautiful brown-eyed girl who stole my heart,and I stopped her and asked her for a plum,and I’ve been “plum” out of my mind for 36 years since then. We are still in love, like you said you never know until you ask.

The one thing I question is, and should be addressed. WHY, did you hesitate??? You saw Ashley, you took action to meet her, then you hesitated for over 1 year. Isn’t that reminiscent of a person attending a meeting, webinar or what ever. Getting excited, seeing what could happen, then they hesitate! They fail to join and start the process to change their lives.
Many times it’s another exposure from another person, that finally “marries” that person to their opportunity.
For me the moral of the story is “follow-up” follow-thru and make it happen! As they say in basketball, follow your shot!
