How To Get Over Writers Block And Start Blogging Again

I just wanted to share a quick couple of insight’s that I’ve had over the last month or so on how to get over writer’s block.  Just a few weeks back, I was working 12-14 hours a day, writing articles, creating software programs, spinning articles, creating videos, talking with prospects, doing webinars, and ALSO trying to mentor and train a downline…

As you can probably imagine, trying to do everything yourself, all the time will only work for so long before you get a little bit overwhelmed mentally…

I wanted to just give you a few quick tips to keep you focused on actually BUILDING a business… (not just having a glorified online job)

1.  Understand what your priorities are.  In online marketing, your number one priority is marketing.  Creating content and information that is going to drive your business to the next level is an aspect, and it’s more important than anything that you do, because if you’re not creating content, your business is eventually going to go into a phase of decline.

2.  Outsource anything that you can pay someone to complete who earns less money than you.  If you’ve got the cash, don’t spend time doing secretarial work, spinning articles, designing your blog, and completing technical tasks, because if you can pay someone else to do the job for you, EVEN IF they do it only 70% as well, it will free up your time to complete more important things, like marketing, coaching, and strategy.

3.  Understand that the REAL players in business are people that spend time in the CREATIVE STRATEGY phase of business, not menial tasks, and that there is nothing more powerful to leverage your time than learning how to work with OTHER people and empower others, and that the more people there are who are trained and empowered by you… The more powerful you become.

4.  Just write.  Make sure that you write SOMETHING every day, even if it’s only 400-500 words, it will make a huge difference long term for your business.  Even if you don’t do any keyword research, WRITE.  You need to be putting out fresh information constantly.

Last of all, don’t worry about it…  Seriously.  Not EVERYTHING you write needs to be SEO optimized.  You don’t have to do keyword research for EVERYTHING you produce.  You don’t need to drive backlinks to EVERY PAGE on your site.  Just write.  Create.  Be yourself, and stay consistent and you’ll get more value from that than almost everything else you could possibly do…

BLOG.  CREATE.  You can make a difference, and will, if you just keep adding value.  I’ll see you at the top.

Hey David, Thanks dude, you really do hit the hammer on the nail head man, I really needed to read this article post right now as I am just randomly reading it out of no where while trying to figure out what to write about or how to pick the right company or right thing to write about which seems to come so naturally for you lol. David thanks for the basics and how you put simple things into perspective like 1, 2, 3 etc, I somehow complicate the simple things but with you help I'm learning what to do and what not to do and also how to do things better. Thanks man...

Hi David! Your content rocks! I appreciate the training you provide and will take your 100 day challenge starting TODAY! I have been writing, yet my articles have been incomplete. The information you provide has lifted the weight off and has inspired me to write, write, write. I spoke to my wife about getting someone to do the secretarial work she decided to dedicate part of her day doing it for me, spinning the articles, helping with my blog, proof reading. Thank you again and keep that space at the top warm for me. Tommy D.

David thanks for these guidelines. I need to be reminded of these on a regular basis:) It can all be so overwhelming at times. Especially in the beginning when there is so much to set up in your marketing funnel. There are times when my head is swimming with ideas and pressing activities. The 4 hour work week talks about using the 82/20 rule. Namely 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. It is so easy to fritter away time doing the unnecessary. We must identify the few critical tasks (20%) from the many useless ones (80%). You are a true inspiration David. I appreciate your leadership. Jim .-= Jim Hoy´s last blog ..MLM Vs. Hi David, You are wright, consistency in everything, but especially in article marketing it is essential to succeed. Somebody who hasn't seen Davids 8-day video series, I suggest to do it, as it will educate you more than any other so called article marketing gurus can teach you. Hey David, Many Thanks for this post. Everything you mentioned about spending endless hours online trying to do everything by yourself is something I can absolutely relate to, and although you do get more efficient over time and the more you do it, outsourcing is definitely the way to go. Keep up the great work, you are a true leader and inspiration in this industry.
