The Basic Guide To Finding High Converting Offers
If you stop mailing your subscribers, they’re going to stop being responsive to your emails.
You need to constantly be sending them content as well as high-quality offers.
Finding offers that will convert with your subscribers can be a lot more difficult than creating free content. Choose the wrong offer and you’re not only going to not make much money, but your subscribers are going to be less likely to even look at your next promotion.
Choose the wrong content to send your list, they’re not really going to care.
Depending on your list, you should be sending your subscribers offers anywhere from every week to every few months. You can’t just promote any old offer with a large payout and high converting sales page.
You have to promote offers that YOUR LIST wants. Never send your list an offer just because it converts well or because the vendor is pressuring you into promoting his/her product launch (it happens a lot).
The first rule is to only send offers your specific list demographic will respond to and on the topic your subscribers want to hear about. The second rule is to promote a variety of offers.
What kind of offers should you promote?
A variety of product launches, services, membership sites, established products and low cost offers. You should always try and send offers on the subject your subscribers have specifically subscribed to hear/learn about.
However, you can always promote relevant offers to your list. If your subscribers subscribed to learn about list building, they’re probably going to want to learn about email marketing. If they want to learn about email marketing, they’re going to need to know some copywriting (etc etc).
Physically Finding Offers
Really, there are 5 marketplaces you should look at:
- Private Affiliate Programs
- Digi Results/WSO Pro
I’ve always favored private affiliate programs, but all networks have good offers. They work in a similar way to each other and have a massive diversity of products.
If you’ve been in Internet Marketing for any length of time, you’ve definitely heard of Clickbank. Clickbank is the affiliate marketing giant of the Internet. They do millions of dollars in sales each year and have products in every niche & sub-niche imaginable.
All of Clickbank’s products are digital and the commissions are huge because of it. On average the commissions are 50%-75%. They do go higher and with the average product priced over $50, Clickbank is bad ass.
When you join, you are instantly approved as an affiliate for everything. A few clicks and you can generate your affiliate links. Just head over to the marketplace and browse through the sections.
The products are ordered by ‘gravity’. Which is Clickbank’s metric for popularity and high conversions.
2. Private Affiliate Programs
Quite often you’ll find the best offers aren’t listed on any marketplace. They have their own private affiliate programs which makes them slightly more difficult to find.
Most really popular online products and services will have an affiliate program. If they’re not listed on a marketplace like Clickbank, they’ll be private. You can find private affiliate programs on the websites of the products/services.
If you can’t find a link to ‘Affiliates’ or ‘Partners’ on the offer’s website; it probably doesn’t have an affiliate program. Private affiliate programs are generally better to promote because there’ll be less people in your space promoting them. Which means the chances are tiny that your subscribers have ever seen the offer before.
PayDotCom is another online marketplace for digital products. Similar to Clickbank, but different offers.
4. DigiResults/WSO Pro/JVZoo
If you’re in the online marketing niche and have a list of freebie subscribers or low-end customers; these networks have the perfect offers for your list.
They are full of extremely high converting, low-priced Internet Marketing products. From traffic generation to email marketing to software – they have everything for Internet Marketing.
These networks are the ones marketers use to run product launches. They are the perfect place to find product launches to promote.
DigiResults have more high quality evergreen offers, while WSOPro and JVzoo have a massive variety of offers ranging from extremely poor quality to insanely high quality.
Ultimately you should be sending your list a variety of different offers. With that said, if you find one type of offer converts really well with your list, keep mailing those types offers.
