Richard Branson is my new business hero (video)

This video is awesome on more levels than just one.  For a long time, my favorite business hero has been Dexter Yager (inventor of the originall network marketing systems, and really – still the highest paid network marketer in the world) – well today, I’ve got a new business hero – I’ve known this guy was a ninja for quite some time, and even read about him in books – but never knew how much of an awesome dude he was until I watched this interview – he doesn’t just make butt loads of money, this guy is a cool cat:

So now, I have a new goal to go to Necker Island and hang out with Richard Branson – any ideas on how to do that?  If you know of some cool way to meet Richard, put a comment in the Facebook or blog comments below.  Also – let me know what you think of the interview – I learned a lot about business from this, some philosophies that I need to change to get to a new level ;)

Appreciate all of you – you guys rock!

Thanks for sharing this video, Dave. I got a lot out of it. I love his advice to find people who are better than you to replace you so you can think about the next big picture. He also states that an entrepreneur is not a manager. He is great at building great ideas and then giving these ideas to great managers to make it happen. Love it my friend.

Didn't JB recently meet Richard? That's your way in. ;) Or you could go the Dillard-Yanik route. You're very close. Richard Branson is the ultimate entrepreneur to me. No one even comes close. Maybe Steve Jobs. I love the canvas analogy and focusing on helping people. How can I change people's lives? If we start there, we're off to the best start. Then treat them well. Thanks for sharing this. Lots of entrepreneurial nuggets no matter where a person is in the process!

David, Great video man. You should write to him and ask to meet him. He might actually say yes. Or, you could offer to be his protege. I'm sure he'd like to rub necks with an internet marketing guru, like yourself. Maybe he's like an online business. I enjoyed the post and video. Thanks, Chuck

Man, I always looked up to Richard Branson. When I found out he bought his own island. I knew he was someone to road model on. I need to do gigantic things like him. He is the man!

David Woods in Costa Rica, Richard Branson in Necker Island. Time Management, Delegation, peace from knowing things can run well without you. Genuinely care about people. #1 Passion and desire to make a difference in lives of others. Protect against the downside.

You should try to contact Joe Polish, George M Brown (Google Sniper) or Yanik Silver. All three of these sports have hung out with Sir Richard Branson on Necker. I'm sure any one of these cats would have a surefire method on getting an invite from Mr. Branson. Good Luck. Be sure get some pictures and post them on your blog when you do go. Cheers!
