When I first heard of how the IDSTC founders, Chris Kent and Ian Cordell teamed up with Billion Dollar Numismatic Salesman Mike Mezak to create what is known today as ‘The Numis Network‘, I said the same thing that you’re probably saying…

…who cares?

Of course, at the time, I wasn’t really looking for an opportunity – I was busy doing important things, like being an internet Guru.

(This kind of thing takes up a bit of time – you know…)

However, when I decided to take a simple, honest look at the company, it made sense to research a little bit about ‘IDSTC’ since they mention the company in all of their presentations, and when I did, I found out some dirty secrets.  (You’re not going to believe this)…

1. IDSTC (formerly MLMTC – standing for MLM Technology Corporation) has been in business for more than 10 years providing start up counsel to more than 450 Network Marketing companies, and currently provides technology systems to more than 150 ACTIVE, successful companies in this industry.

2. Chris Kent and Ian Cordell are pretty cool guys...

3. Since they’ve programmed so many comp plans – these guys know how to design something that just kicks back a crap load of money to the distributors.

4.  Jake Kevorkian is also pretty nice guy – and one time I accidentally put my arm around his daughter Morgan, mistakenly thinking she was my wife when we were on a cruise, and when she turned to me with a horrified look (she’s in high school) it really freaked me out… (reminded me of when I was a wee lad and was tugging on my Mom’s pant leg to get her attention, and some OTHER LADY looked down)…

…ok – back to Numis

The fact is, when I saw the Numis Network Comp PlanI looked like this guy:Are you crazy?

That was because I didn’t have all of the low-down on these royally cool owners – Chris and Ian.

Since they own the software and technology that manages back office systems of so many organizations – they’ve figured out what kinds of ‘secret bonuses’ make people the most money in this industry by watching literally hundreds of companies rise to the very top.

This helps us because we’ve got the kind of technology infrastructure in place here at Numis that is normally reserved for companies that have been in this industry for 5, or even 10 years.

I got thinking of this the other day – and I was reminded of a wild bear that I saw in the woods in Alaska.

I was out picking berries one day, and out of the corner of my eye – I saw this furry bush move and ruffle up some leaves.  When I looked over to see what in the heck was going on, I realized that I had a choice to either run for my life, stay and fight the bear, or pretend I was a female bear, and mate with it.

So I ran for my life.

You might be asking – what in the hell does that have to do with The Numis Network?  Well, sometimes in life, you see something out of the corner of your eye that can change the course of your destiny – and you can choose to make a run WITH IT – or you can choose to just sit there and watch.

So when I figured out what IDSTC really did for Numis, I was already in, but it just made me DECIDE to run that much harder.

If you’re looking at Numis, I want to give you a gift, and show you how I became the #1 recruiter in 2010 in less than 4 months, sponsoring more than 230 reps – click here for my ‘Numis Network Training Bootcamp now.

This is one of those things that takes people a while to get. In fact, some people never get it, they just like getting shiny objects in the mail every month.

Years ago there was a comedian (I can’t remember his name) He would tell a joke and pretend he was tossing a grenade into the audience. A “Joke Grenade”. It took a few seconds for the audience to “get it”.

You definately want to be positioned when everyone else “get’s it”. The “Numis Grenade effect”.

David, great post. I can just see the look on your face when you saw the bear. Numis has amazing leadership and will be around for many years to come, in my opinion. We all appreciate your leadership.
