My Top Secret – Not So Secret Traffic Strategy

Ok, I’ve been holding this one back…

(not really)

…but I wanted to share my ‘Top Secret – Not So Secret‘ traffic strategy with you, for a limited time, but only if you act now…

The cool thing about this strategy – is you don’t have to know SEO, be a web developer, or have really cool, long curly hair to do this one – you can do it now, with no education or experience.

First, though – I wanted to show some proof that it works.  If you look at 2 things (it should suffice).  This first pic is my traffic compared to the internet giant – Magnetic Sponsoring:

* Special Note – buy Magnetic Sponsoring by clicking here now

** Disclaimer – I pretty much make money from everything you click on.

I’m the blue line in the photo – you can click the picture for a larger view in a new window.  The second piece of proof that this Top Secret – Not So Secret strategy works is looking at my traffic stats:

Pretty cool, huh? Over 1,333,288 hits this month alone!

[fblistconnect]

So what’s my Secret – not so secret method that’s let’s me do this???   What is the ‘top secret’ SEO method that allows for complete, and utter online traffic domination?!?!?!?

(drumroll, please…)

The Two Great, Top Secret Laws of Massive, Instant Internet Traffic:

1.  Don’t be a dork ALL THE TIME.  Ok, so it’s cool to be a dork a lot of the time – and have headlines like (not picking on anyone) “Is Jumbo Weight-Loss a Scam?” and “Is Amway a Scam?” and “Is Numis a Scam?” (etc, ad infinitum of boring, boring MLM people”

However, it’s ALSO ok – to make cool stuff, that really is just fun to watch, entertaining, and (Oh my…) doesn’t even have anything to do with MLM – like my famous videos Is there Poop in your Pancakes?, or my slap stick, ridiculous (and world famous) presentation The Ultimate Way To Get Money dot Com.

Let’s face it - MLM people are a bore most of the time – it’s all about ‘leads’ ‘traffic’ and this launch – or that launch, or Mark Hoverson’s penis – it gets old – there is other stuff to talk about, you know?

(special government disclaimer: Mark Hoverson’s penis never gets old)

2.  Operate in the ‘Laws of Traffic‘, don’t fight against them.

The internet basically operates from 3 laws, that almost all marketers ignore (in their great attempt to out-dork everyone).  If you don’t know what the laws are – I’ve got a simple assignment for you – go to Alexa.com, download the tool bar, and spend about 5 hours surfing around the top 100 sites online – (ignore the porn sites, we’re trying to keep distractions to a minimum for a few minutes)…

Ask yourself the question – WHY do these sites get so much traffic?  The answer is simple – it’s because they are Informative, Social, and Entertaining (just remember – Vanilla I.S.E.)

The fact is – the top 100 sites online could give a crap about SEO, they’re there to entertain, connect, and inform the masses.

(primarily to entertain, actually).  You’ll find this half funny, half perverse, but Rupert Murdoch (owner of NewsCorp and one of the most influential people in the world) actually thinks that the news isn’t there to inform – it’s there to entertain. *

* reference needed – I heard this from a Chris Howard audio training, and haven’t had the time to dig up the actual quote.

Entertainment drives traffic, and traffic creates opportunities to target groups within that traffic.

SEO capitalizes on traffic that entertainment and social media create from scratch.

So my ‘top-secret, not so secret’ way of getting traffic is NOT to target traffic, but to create it out of thin air, much like media companies do, and then market to that traffic through direct response marketing.

Want to know the coolest thing about doing things that way?

NO COMPETITION.

See, with SEO, or PPC – you’re competing in a limited market, but with traffic creation – you’re manifesting an unlimited market out of thin air – much like God, when, in the beginning, he said ‘let there be light’ and there was light.

Where from?  From thin air, apparently.

Don’t you want to be more like God?
In Prosperity,

David Wood

P.S. Leave me your thoughts, and don’t forget to hit ‘like’ and share with many the ‘Top Secret – Not So Secret’ method finally revealed, for the last, and the first time…

…and also, please – don’t be a dork ALL the time, ok?

Thank you for telling clearly: I.S.E. The first two I know but respect all the time only I. on my blogs. My first posts (about online business) were very funny, full of humor and satire (although informative), after that I became very serious... That was a mistake, I see now!

I need to chill, I get so uptight about doing everything right. Sometimes the best things happen when everything goes wrong.

Hey David this makes so much sense and I strive to entertain in all that I do online. I create funny and interesting videos and sometimes by accident, like when a bug crawled in my cleavage while I was shooting and I started dancing lol. The video was great and got a ton of traffic however the bug did not manage to survive. I am proud to say I finished the video bug guts in my shirt and all. Raw and uncut material woo hoo! My audience loved it!!

This is some crazy cool stuff, I understand completely where You're coming from. It's like those jokers on Youtube who talk shit all day long. Once they get popular, they put up sites with no seo what so ever but their alexa rank is still incredibly low. You're right man, Entertainment has magic. Wicked stuff!

David you are the Howard Stern of Network Marketing. Stern tells the story about when he was starting out and getting huge amounts of listeners PLUS they would listen to him LONGER than any other radio program. The reason being they did not want to miss what he was going to say next. Sound familiar? That "Poop In Your Pancakes" video post is the perfect example. I kept watching/listening because I wanted to see what you would say or do next. PRICELESS!

Hey David This is great stuff I'm in the process of starting a blog and I am certainly glad I read this post before I launched it. By hitting the head right on the nail(did I get that right?)you may have just saved me from successfully executing a massive campaign of sheer boredom and obscurity.

Great Post David. I heard a statement years ago that said,"People will pay more for entertainment than they will for information." It still seems true today.

D, Interesting post there Kimosabe. What's funny is that I was listening to a training by a top copywriter and he speaks to this area by calling it "info-tainment". Personally I have been in the process of allowing myself to chill the f--- out and quite truthfully have been having so much more fun as a result. A lot of the times in our quest to build a bigger better (deal, team, check... Etc.) We lose focus on the fact that when it really comes down to it that this industry is primarily built upon relationships and not " TRAFFIC & CONVERSIONS". In order to build a rock solid team of players we actually have to enjoy spending time and interacting with them first. Keep It Rockin, John "Blaze" Chatman

Mark Hoverson doesn't need to approve of anything - just by mentioning his holy name, all things are instantly approved, and anyone who questions it (and tries to prove themselves right through logic) is instantly killed by a bolt of lightning.
