My 4 Covert Post Penguin Content Syndication Tools
The truth is, I haven’t really been doing SEO since long before Google penguin.
That’s not entirely true… I’ve just not been doing what the rest of the world calls SEO – at least in the online marketing space. I’ve actually been doing a crap load of SEO, just in an ultra covert, subtle 100% automated way.
Not too long ago in a land not so far away, I got to the point in my business where I was sick of mundane tasks like SEO, article marketing and link building. Even though it was long after I stopped doing SEO myself; I was sick of managing and outsourcing it.
After hearing about the never ending Google updates and other search engine shenanigans. I decided to stop creating links, or at least change the way I was creating them.
Every week more angry web masters were complaining about losing their rankings, I was slightly worried about this blog. After spending 3 years on a site, it feels like losing a child if you get it sandboxed or penalized by Google.
I moved away from link building, started posting more content and syndicating it. Content syndication is what I believe to be the easiest way of doing SEO effectively. Content syndication is effectively sharing your content on other sites. Taking it, publishing it on other sites and linking to the original version.
News sites and Press Release sites syndicate content every day, that’s what they do. Syndication is one of the most natural forms of link building, it’s also the most easiest to automate and scale. Here are my 4 content syndication tools:
LinksAlpha is a social syndication/sharing platform similar to OnlyWire, only better. LinksAlpha posts to around 30 different networks consisting of social networks, bookmarking sites, blogging platforms and status.net sites. For $10/month you’re allowed 2000 submissions.
By simply connecting the accounts and your blog’s RSS feed, LinksAlpha will automatically syndicate your new content onto all of your connected networks resulting in a surge of traffic and backlinks.
In the past I always used Ping.fm and Hellotxt, but of course they shut down and we’ve had to look for other options. Onlywire is the best ultimate to Ping.fm.
Similar to LinksAlpha, its a content syndication/sharing platform that posts to up to 47 different networks. With the ability to add unlimited users, sites and increase your posting limits at a low cost; its a must have syndication tool.
Tribepro was my little secret for a while. Some say its overly hyped, I firmly disagree. I guess you could call it a content syndication platform, but its so much more. The best analogy for explaining Tribepro is sharing tribes. Within tribepro are tribes, they are like little membership sites.
When you join a tribe, you can submit your content for the other members to share. While that’s effective, the real results come from auto-syndication partnerships. Someone can auto-syndicate your content, but its kind of reciprocal. Meaning if you don’t auto-syndicate them back; they’re going to un-auto-syndicate you.
With a little effort you can leverage Tribepro to automatically share your new content on thousands of social accounts.
4. WP Link Boss
WP Link Boss is effectively the best content syndication and autopilot link building tool. Unlike the other tools, this is a WordPress plugin. WP Link Boss allows you to syndicate your content onto dozens, hundreds or even thousands of accounts. It syndicates to wikis, edu blogs, social networks, bookmarking sites, doc sharing sites and blogging platforms.
It allows you to add as many networks/accounts as you like, plus it comes with 3rd party service integration. You can integrate Onlywire, LinksAlpha and even DripFeedBlasts so you can control everything from this one plugin. By integrating DripFeedBlasts into WP Link Boss, it’ll automatically build the DripFeedBlasts links to the links that link boss builds.
Very cool advanced plugin for content syndication and autopilot promotion.
DripFeedBlasts isn’t a content syndication service, it’s just one of the tools I use to automate my content promotion/tier 2 link building. For $100/month, you get 30,000 blog comment backlinks drip fed to any links you want. While originally a comment building service, DripFeedBlasts now allows you to choose between blog comments, bookmarks, wiki links and ‘authority links’. I use this service to drive links to all my syndicated content.
