I Don’t Work I am Work

Building an online presence is not an overnight task. Contrary to what most people think about building a business on the internet, it takes time and persistence. A lot of people might think that the way I market is a lot of work, but I like what I do so much that I’d have to say I don’t work, I am work. When you have a passion for something other people  may view what you do as work but you may view it as an outlet or something you just have to do in order to be true to yourself. Truthfully, I don’t think I could build my business any other way.

I have a friend who wants to take his business online but he doesn’t want to do the work. He just wants a program to go out and get leads for him. I’ve been trying to tell him that, while a program like that may work, those kinds of products usually won’t get good quality leads. You see a lot of people think that the internet is an easy way out, they think that all you have to do is buy the right program and push start. I don’t think I could do that because I have a need to give something of value.

From what I’ve discovered, building a solid online business can only be accomplished by taking action on a consistent basis. Personally, I wouldn’t have it any other way because for me, building my business and connecting with people on the internet is a great experience. Even if I knew of a “bot” that scoured the internet and gathered high quality leads I wouldn’t buy it because for me it’s about making a connection, it’s not about making a sale. Now, I do like the fact that a lot of the processes used on the internet can be automated, but at the same time it’s up to the person who is leveraging those systems to add value to the process.

I’ve found this business to be very rewarding. I like it when people tell me they got value from my content or they tell me that they like my analogies. I have yet to find an occupation that gives back as much or more than I put in, either. There has to be a personal element to everything you do online. If you take a look at all the successful marketers on the internet, you’ll notice that all of them are original and all of them have their own style. The people who are making the big bucks don’t rely on a program to get sign-ups and make to sales. They produce content that adds value to the marketplace which positions them as knowledgeable leaders. Don’t get me wrong, the top earners do leverage systems that give them more time freedom, but most of those systems work best if valuable content is submitted into them on a regular basis.

By now you should know that taking action and producing quality content that adds value to others is a better course than trying to find a futuristic program that does everything for you. The best attitude to have in this industry is one of servitude. If you’re main objective is to get rich quick, you’ll have a hard time in this business, but if you have an attitude of gratitude and a passion to help others achieve their dreams, you won’t be able to stop. I’ll tell you one thing I’ve got the bug, I don’t even view what I do in my business as work. I can’t stop it’s simply not in me to quit, and that’s why when it comes to this stuff I say I don’t work, I am work.

In Prosperity,

Eric & Lauren Kalberer
