Amazing what a little research and persistence can do! Fortunately, I haven't yet lost my YouTube channel but you are the first person to even discuss the possibility of getting your channel back! Nearly everyone else I've heard of in your situation had thrown in the towel once Google slapped them, thinking there was no way to get it back once gone. Yet you did it and it appears with relative ease (considering all the work and time you put into creating your channel!). Congratulations, great lesson for all - David vs the Google-Goliath - and David wins again!

You are awesome David and from a 54 year young guy ...me...you say it as it should be said. I would respect you less if you did not. I say f--- the government on my personal blog often. In as many ways as I can. I'm from Toronto ...San Francisco lite I call it ...and it seems you folks down below us are being run by your very own Nazis. What needs to happen is have as many of us get very wealthy through our NWMing and other streams of income and create our own economies. More wealth = more choices to tell the governments to go f--- themselves. Over and over. And thanks to guys and gals like you this can happen.
Bravo David, at least we still have the freedom of speech and the press. Although some will probably want to take that out of the constitution as well. We all should be more like you and fight for what we feel is right and for what we believe. We cant let big corporations and big government control us or our opinions.

Hi Dave, I agree 100% with you about companies that drop the mlm pay structure with absolutely no regard for the hard work of their reps. I had this happen to me years ago in a company I loved, with a product I truly believed in. And while I personally did not lose very much at that time, I personally know people in that company that lost fortunes overnight, including the #1 income earner who like you has moved on and become the #1 recruiter in his new company. I wish that people who aren't deeply knowledgeable regarding the ins and outs of running a successful mlm company would just stay completely out of the industry all together. Yeah buddy take down the company name stuff, seriously. I have to sort through my vids and find all of it and take it down, it's at least a month before I got my channel back last time. The government can bite me. The USA was formed by people who wanted freedom, and we've turned into the biggest shame to humanity in the history of industrialized society. -dave

I also use EZS3, it's great. I'm pretty paranoid about losing my Youtube videos and I prefer to not embed them on my blog. There is a downside to this as I don't get as many views as I could on my youtube channel but I think playing safe is the best thing. Just curious, have you ever heard of copyright claims on the music people use on their videos? This is another tricky part: a video with some background music is much more enjoyable BUT it can probably lead to more copyright troubles, isn't it?
That's why I use private label, dorky elevator music in my vids. That is actually real, too - you've got to be real careful how you use music if it's a 'for profit' video. -dave

I may have gotten my YouTube channel back – but the fact is, it will get shut down again (unfortunately – it’s just the nature of the beast). So to protect myself, I’m doing all of my own video marketing on my own personal hosting, which is important, because my vids have over 100,000 views a month.
Why I Hate The Government – I know ‘Hate’ is a strong word – and it would be more accurate to say that I hate CONTROLLING governments, and right now the USA is treating it’s citizens much like the soviet union treated people before the collapse, and the financial situation in the USA is much like it was in Rome before it fell – we need to shape it up if we want to avoid falling from our 300 year strong empire. Have you seen the naked body scanners in the airports? I can only imagine a TSA member sitting in a dark room, eating popcorn as they look at nude photos of citizens who refuse to take action against absurdity. Why am I mentioning this on my blog? Because if we continue to allow bureaucrats to control our lives, eventually the middle class will disappear from the financial burden and it will destroy most small businesses.
