Absolutely phenomenal content David! When I think back to when I have been the most successful, happy, energetic, loving, spiritual, and well rounded in all aspects of life; was when I had a well established routine like you described in your video. About 8 years ago I was commuting 2 hours per day to college. I woke up at the same time every day. I put together a collection of the best audio trainings I could find on motivation, success, goal setting, etc., and listened to them while I commuted. I worked out for 45 minutes to 1 hour once I arrived on campus. I would then go to my classes and finish my homework and then drive home to where I worked part time in a sales job. I wondered how I would manage that tough schedule. But the strong routine and the constant positive information I was listening to empowered me. I went from a struggling marketer, to making more than my college professors within 3 weeks. Some nights I would only be able to work 1 or 2 hours, but I was so mentally geared up and motivated that I was very productive in my time at work. There were nights when I made as much as over $2,000 in the few short hours I worked after commuting 2 hours and putting in a full day of college studies. It seemed crazy to me at the time that I could be making that much money working such few hours, but it was all about exactly what you mention in the video on this blog post. Thanks again for reminding me about this as lately I have fallen away from the routine. I'm glad for the friendly reminder and to be a part of your team!

Hey David, awesome video. It's clear we all have the same 24/7 but others get so much more out of that time. Having mind, body and spirit operating as one with laser focus is key to massive gains, and personal happiness.

So with you Dave! If I don't meditate for 20 min at night & when I arise, and exercise after morning meditation, I'm mentally and physically weak all day. I so crucial for me; I'm like you and I'll absolutely be in space camp if I don't do both : ) Of course when I do, I'm powerful, focused, and don't really process or search for answers to challenges. I also find I'm a much better listener and question asker given I've done my routine. Lots of people deserve to get this so thanks for putting it out there. Cheers, David

Hey Dave! That video was very true in many respects. My husband and I got gym memberships about a month ago and being able to exercise hard core everyday has been awesome and has done a lot for my everyday life and attitude. I also love the point you made about planning out your day. We have a whiteboard next to our computer and right before we go to bed we make our list. We also have a list that we do consistently every single day besides our tasks and I call it our meat and potatoes list. ;) Thanks for the message! ~Erin Smith

Dave, Enjoyed the video as always and I agree. PS- On a side note, I had an extremely successful uncle who would tell me that he would wake up everyday at the same time and say "I feel great". It put him in a positive state of mind to start the day. JK

H iDavid, Very inspiring video my friend... I currently do have a routine of waking up reading and going for a walk along the river here in Noosa but I haven't yet set the iphone up with some great training content to listen to and I don't know how that went over my head SLAP! My consistency needs some work but your video today has inspired me to be more focused on my morning routine. I gotta say I am a big fan of your work and will be following you closely my friend! I look forward to what ever you have install for your readers next! Thanks, Billee Brady

Dave, great message, very inspirational. It really is the simple things in life that make all the difference. Incredible how just 2 hours a day at the start of your day can make all the difference to how your day goes and how productive you can be. I thrive on mindfeed, whether that's while I'm working out at the gym, driving around town or especially when going on a long road trip. Appreciate your candidness and sharing your experiences!

So true David, You are so wise. I too, find that if I go for a job in the morning, I literally end up planning my day on autopilot, and I feel vibrant and energetic all day. It puts my brain in 'unstoppable' mode:-) That one hour can change your day, your week, your year, your life. Thanks for the great video! Rebecca

Dave, I don't know how you do it, but you do! I am still stuck in the dark tunnel. Your videos are helping quite a bit but for an old man like me (72) "It ain't easy McGee!" Today I spent over two hours on skype with Ed P. It was only suppose to be a couple of minutes. Ha-ha! I am in the process of transferring my blog to wordpress and have it hosted by hostgator. Am I thinking or not? My blog:www.anobodyissomebody.com, has alot of adsense which sends everyone to someone else. I have earned $78 in the last two years! Pretty good? I hope to do better when I put my own ads on. Do you know of anyone in the Palm Springs area who could help me? I really could use some decent help? Thanks Dave, and I will stay tuned. Oh, I do go for a walk quite often. Right now I am on a special water diet and can't really leave the house. Take care and thanks! Pete

Like many people I started out working my business part-time. It took me awhile to understand I wasn't really working my business, I was treating it as a hobby. I finally put myself on a schedule. First I started 1 hour a day but that quickly became 2 hours a day. Once I got organized I started becoming successful in my business.

Great post David if we don't have the right Mindset it won't matter what we try to do and having a method to how your day starts or a plan is just smart. Thanks man!!

Hi David, Great video! I am lucky enough to have 2 very reliable alarm clocks (my boys aged 2 and 3 1/2), however I must say keeping a personal health routine for my body and mind as a work at home mum is not always easy - it's a good thing I love a challenge! I'm about to embark on a personal challenge which includes a routine to allow more time and focus on physical exercise, meditation and spending quality time with my kids and partner. I've been guilty of prioritising my online business over other significant aspects of my life, and really look forward to establishing the new balance that will empower me to achieve greater results for all my goals, in my personal life and business. Thanks for your very timely inspiration and for your positive energy! Justine

David, thanks for kicking some well deserved butt, mine included!! I do most of the things you talk about except planning my day so it always takes me 10 times longer to achieve results. Another thing you didn't mention is distractions. I think its a good idea to turn off all distractions until you have gone through your tasks for the day, including email and social networks. Great vid. Thanks for all the value you give. Sofia

You are wise beyond your years David. That comes from taking the effort of the 30-50 year plan and concentrating it inside of 2-5 year NWMing plan using the leverage of tools and people. Your wisdom comes from dealing with many people. I'm a 54 year young guy with the energy of an average 30 something. I have a passion for fitness and health. Mental health included. I have read daily since I stopped being a socialist at 36 years old. That's the year....1992 I started to build an Amway distributorship. I've never had a problem with discipline in fitness. I was an athlete in several sports and prioritize fitness daily. I make it a part of my life. For the last 3 years I've built myself out online to get an internet presence. 3 weeks ago I started promoting Numis. Every day I do something for my fitness just like my business. What is the sense of making a pile of money but you where not disciplined enough to stay fit? I am blessed with great health and strength and I want to keep it. At 54 My wife and I are rebuilding our finances. This IM stuff is a much tougher discipline for Me but I will tell those who have trouble with fitness discipline that it will help all areas of your life!

Right on David! Planning like you described will make a HUGE tremendous difference in our productivity and overall well-being, it is just proven fact as you said. Going to the gym, making that daily plan, then executing it, keeps us focused. I can waste so much time not doing it. But, when I do, I am focused and at the end of the day am satisfied and content with the progress. Awesome, lively post! - Joe

Good stuff my old friend. This is something I need to do more. A lot of my mental grump comes from not having any sort of routine. Even though we are always trying to escape the routine of the 9-5, we sometimes forget to even build a new routine to support the lifestyle we desire.

Hey Dave, that was a very powerful message. I also believe in everything you said. I keep a strict routine daily and it has boosted everything that I do for the day. And when I get off schedule my day is off track. keep giving back so much knowledge.

Richard Duke

Dave, I agree with the other posters here about a schedule being very important in a persons daily activities. But, my work is traveling and in a different time zone not every day but several times a week thus getting up and started is at a different biological time all the time. However i do not let this get me down. Thanks for the encouragement also about physical fitness. That can be important in your mental attitude and your on self esteem.

David, Great stuff, I can relate to what you just said here. Staying on track and keeping a daily consistent routine helps. Exercise is also a great way to boost your mental focus and generate energy.I'm always finding ways to boost my state of mind and body.

Hey David Wood, I love the message David. You are right on the money when you said to get up at the same time every day. Your body has a memory a schedule and if you deviate it doesn't work the same. I believe that exercise helps you have a better day and gives you a more positive outlook. As far as training, I still work at a normal job but as I work I listen to other network marketing audio trainings on my iPod. As I listen to the trainings it helps my mindset because I know I'm going somewhere and I won't be at that J.O.B. forever. You are an awesome leader. Chris Tuttle

I cannot tell you how much this helped me! I can really relate to being a 'space cadet' because my mind is always thinking and sometimes I will spend all day and accomplish nothing! I have actually been trying to get into a morning routine over the past week but I wasn't really sure exactly what to do. This advice helps a lot. Now I just need to pick up some new audios! Thanks David. Frank Caparso

Dave: I agree with you 100% percent. Especially when having the proper " M I N D S E T " on a daily basis is the foundation of our personal sucess! One exercise suggested by Napoleon Hill in his "Laws Of Success" is to add to your daily routine to "Begin Each Day With Hearty Laughing" for at least 1 minute. "This will change the chemistry of your brain and start you out with a positive mental attitude." It will also help us to: "Have a Pleasing Personality", "Have Enthusiasm", "Have Personal Initiative", "Have Self Discipline", "Have a Positive Mental Attitude" and "Go The Extra Mile" *]B- )

Hi David, I love the advice here. I go for at least a 1 hour walk each day. Yesterday I churned out a 2 hour jaunt. I either listen to subconscious reprogramming tapes, meditate, or I perform affirmations. Everything is energy. Make high energy choices and you receive high energy results. An added benefit? People who help to make your dream a reality flow into your life with greater ease. I'm also big on meditation, sitting for at least 30 minutes a day. Sitting still allows you to observe your habits of self-destruction. When you can face these thoughts and feelings you can embrace and release them. Thanks for sharing and have a powerful day! Ryan

Hey Dave, awesome video and tips! It's so true, without a plan it's easy for my mind to wander all day, it's my natural tendency too. It's all about setting a routine and sticking to it. Great stuff as always Dave!
