Creating A Compelling Offer
Ok, so we’ve talked about a lot of important things over the past week or two, from generating hoards of traffic from search engines, video sharing sites, and article networks, to learning how to close prospects from the best minds in the industry. Today, we’re going to talk about something that if you ignore, you’ll be missing out on more than 90% of your subscribers…
…and that’s what it comes down to, doesn’t it? Building a MASSIVE database of subscribers that are EAGER to come to your site and read what you have to say. People who WANT to buy from you and when you talk to on the phone are OPEN to hearing what you have to say. Here’s the next skill you have to MASTER:
Creating A Compelling Offer.
You see, people aren’t going to ‘opt in’ to recieve information from you unless they have good reason to do so. You’ve got to present a message that has so much value, so much power, and produces results in a way that people CAN’T WAIT to get your email messages day after day after day…
…So what’s the secret to creating a compelling opt in offer? It’s simple, find a problem that is specific, and solve that problem for people for free. All they have to do in exchange is give you their First Name and Phone Number.
So let me give you a quick example. Even though this concept applies to every business, I’m involved in the business of MLM, specifically, I’m involved in online MLM promotion. So the question I have to ask is:
What problems do people generally have in the MLM profession? And what specifically do people struggle with when they’re trying to build their business online? And how can I help them solve that problem?
The answer is simple…
People struggle building their business online because:
1. They don’t have enough traffic for their website, and they don’t have enough money to promote their business through paid outlets.
2. They don’t have a compelling offer on their website, so none, or little of their traffic converts to profit.
So all I need to do to create an offer that gets RIDICULOUS opt ins for my business is this – I need to help people learn how to get huge amounts of visitors to their website at any budget level, and teach them how to turn those visitors into lasting, and significant profits.
Does that make sense?
So what I want you to do today is evaluate your webpage. Ask yourself the question: “Am I really trying to solve problems with this offer? Or am I just trying to sell something?” Be honest. If you’re just trying to sell something, fixing your message is step one. In fact, I recently evaluated my message, and I decided that even though it does provide significant value, that I can make my offer 100 times more compelling, and as a result over the next two weeks I’m doing a complete overhaul on my entire sales funnel.
