The Numis Network is an absolutely fascinating MLM business that has attracted a lot of criticism and praise from people who are involved in the Network Marketing industry.

Watching it from an outside perspective, it’s been fun to see what people have said as this new company has unfolded and started to become a name in this industry.

One thing that I wanted to mention briefly is my thoughts on the sustainability that Numis has over a long period of time, since this is a question that has been asked by myself and people who have called me, asking for advice on whether or not they should join this company.

First of all – let me say that no one has a crystal ball. Some companies that you think are going to make it big end up tumbling to the dust, and some companies that you think are going to fall apart go to the very top.

I had an experience once where I was building a business for six months and the company completely collapsed right in front of my eyes. Looking back, I could see it coming with what I know now – but at the time I swore that it would last forever.

How does this relate to the Numis Network? I think that the biggest indicator of long term success in a Network Marketing company is the leadership of the company, and Numis has absolutely the best leadership that I’ve ever seen in a start up MLM. When I had that experience with my previous company, the leadership of the company just didn’t understand all of the complexities of building an MLM company long term, whereas in the Numis Network, the leaders have been actively involved in building companies at the corporate level for a combined total of 60 years.

Another thing to look at when studying a company is how they market their business. Most MLM companies that start up have absolutely no clue how to create advertising and marketing tools that work for the average distributor.

At the Numis Network, they’ve got some of the best tools for a new network marketing distributor to use that I’ve seen in my career in this industry, and the founders absolutely know what they’re doing.

That being said – when looking at this company, you’ve got to evaluate it from all angles, and it would do good to make sure that you not only look at the company itself, but also the team that you decide to get involved with, as it will make a difference in your ability to produce the results and income that you’re looking for in an opportunity.

After a careful review, studying the product, the company, and the leadership – I believe that the Numis Network is poised for long term, sustainable growth in the MLM industry, and it is definitely a company worth studying further.

Just make sure before you make any decisions, that you get on the phone with the leadership team that you’re looking at getting involved with, and make sure that they’re in this with a long term vision. If you want a detailed analysis of why I decided to join the company – read my Numis Network Review, and if you’d like to learn how I build the business, see my Instant Leads Formula now.

The battle between me and Cedrick Harris has been going on for months now. It all started when Cedrick told a couple of people that my primary company was a ‘glorified affiliate program’ and I started doing some SEO work on his name, haha… At the No Excuses Summit in Las Vegas Nevada last weekend it all came together. The most Cut-throat competition that this industry has ever seen has now turned into the most dominating and powerful partnership of this century. Now that Cedrick and I have joined forces, there is ZERO COMPETITION that can even come close to the talent on this team. You take a proven “Closer and Prospector” and partner that with the “Wizard Lead Generator” that smells like a recipe for ACTION.

I originally was going to target this article at a generic audience, but I figured that if I was more specific, even if you’re in a different company than me, you can benefit by learning specifically how to think through different things that people say.

There are a couple of things that I want to cover before getting in to the real intent of this article.

First, I want to define what an objection is, and what it’s not. The sponsoring process in the Numis Network – or any other network marketing opportunity can be thought about as if it were in six steps, which I’m going to cover in my next article. Each of these steps is the same, whether it is using traditional methods, or ‘new school’ online marketing methods. It’s important to discover that even though the methods of moving through the process in each school are different, you’re really doing the exact same thing.

For the sake of objections in The Numis Network – let’s cover only the first 3 steps, because there’s a common mistake I see people making that leads to not getting the exact result that you want.

The First 3 Steps Of The Sponsoring Cycle:

1. Building Rapport – one of the biggest mistakes people make with marketing, sales, and overcoming Numis Objections is that they never build a strong rapport with their prospects BEFORE going in to phase 2. This way of thinking is the single cause of people outside of the Numis Network not seeing the company as a professional business. The easiest way to remember this is by remembering the phrase ‘friendship first – sponsoring second’ OR ‘rapport first, sponsoring second’. If you don’t have a good rapport with your prospects, you’ll never know their real objections, because they won’t tell you. I didn’t do this correctly just yesterday, and it almost made me not sponsor someone that I could have enrolled – just be aware of it and look out for my next article.

2. Pre-qualifying – this is the second mistake that I see distributors in Network Marketing making in the sponsoring process – is that they don’t effectively pre-qualify their prospects. The funny thing is – if someone isn’t pre-qualified, they are NOT a prospect, and people don’t understand this. Someone who is not effectively pre-qualified isn’t a prospect, they are a ‘suspect’. One objection in Network Marketing I see people making all the time is that they try and overcome the ‘I don’t want to do it’ suspect. Notice I didn’t say the ‘I don’t want to do it’ objection – because it’s not an objection. Remember, someone can’t give any real objections unless they are a real prospect, and you can never know if they are a real prospect unless you pre-qualify them. Watch out for my next couple of articles to learn how to pre-qualify prospects – you can do this either through traditional marketing tools, OR, through an automated marketing funnel.

3. Ask questions and find the core need – the third mistake I see people making in handling Numis Network objections is that they don’t effectively find a need, and if there isn’t a real need or want, you should never try and sponsor someone. The great thing is, that most of the time if you pre-qualify someone correctly, you’re not talking to someone unless they DO have a strong desire, and you just need to find out what it is. The rule is – the stronger your pre-qualification step is, the less people you’ll end up moving to step 3, but the more qualified they’ll be and your sponsoring ratios with those people will be DRAMATICALLY higher. I used to make people set an interview time to work with me when I was actively recruiting 2 people per day (I spend more time now helping my team recruit) – and of the people that booked an interview – my sponsoring ratio was more than 90%.

That’s all we need to cover for the purpose of this article – now assuming that you’re moving through the process correctly, let’s get back to the four REAL objections in Numis and how to handle them.

Here Are The Only Real Objections To Doing Anything:

1. I don’t have the time. Remember – if someone isn’t a prospect, you don’t have rapport, and there isn’t a need, this isn’t an objection, and you need to back up in the sponsoring cycle to ever move forward. The same thing goes for any of the other four Network Marketing objections.

2. I don’t have the money. This is actually one of the easiest objections in the world to overcome if it’s actually a real objection. The problem people have is that they try and solve it when it isn’t real. Most of the time, if you’ve effectively pre-qualified people and found a need, they’ve got a credit card right there in their pocket that they can put the $495 on that it takes to join Numis, and they are just saying they don’t have the money because it’s something that people naturally do. Most of the time when people say this, the actual objection is ‘I don’t believe it will work’, OR ‘I don’t believe it will work for me’. See how to overcome the ‘no money’ objection for more details.

3. I don’t believe it will work. MOST of the ‘not real’ objections that you run into in The Numis Network, like questions about whether the coins are valuable or not fall into the ‘I don’t believe it will work’ objection. This is also one of the easiest objections to overcome once it’s properly identified – if people don’t believe it will work, it’s because they haven’t seen a proper benefit based presentation or had the message validated in the sponsoring cycle. The problem is – sometimes people assume that this is a real objection, and they haven’t built rapport, pre-qualified a prospect, or found a real need, and really, the prospect is just brushing them off.

4. I don’t believe it will work for me. This is a distinctly different objection than the ‘I don’t have time’ issue, or the ‘I don’t believe it will work’ objection that you’ll find in The Numis Network. Sometimes, when someone says this, they really don’t think they have the time – OR - they just feel like they can’t spend the money (which usually just means they don’t believe it will work). When this is real, it’s also easy to overcome, but you have to identify it and make sure that it is the actual, core objection.

That’s really it as far as objections in Numis go – really, that’s true in anything else, too.

Notice I didn’t overcome the ‘I have to think about it‘ statement. That’s because most of the time when someone says that, it’s not true. There are actually only about 13 people out of every 100 that think about anything before they decide, and when someone says that who is a REAL thinker – you NEVER, ever overcome it – you let them think about it and move on.

I also didn’t overcome the ‘I have to talk to my spouse’ statement. Also, that’s because it’s not an objection, it’s a statement that is sometimes real, and sometimes not real. Not everyone talks to their spouse before they make decisions. Most people actually don’t. For example, I never ask Ashley before I make any business decisions. She found out I joined Numis 4 hours after the fact when I had 40 people in my team. When someone is a real ‘I have to talk to my spouse’ person - let them do it and if they really want to join, they’ll join. Most of the time, people are saying this to brush you off because they don’t have a need, they haven’t been pre-qualified – or you don’t have a good rapport and they’re perceiving you as being too ‘pushy’. In my opinion, all of the other 16 sub-objections aren’t really objections, they’re either statements, or they’re the result of not moving through the sponsoring process in the right way, with the right people.

So how do you overcome objections? The process is simple. Remember, you have to be moving through the sponsoring sequence properly or this won’t work, but let’s assume that you are.

Here’s how I like to do it, and it works out pretty good most of the time:

1. Qualify the objection to see if it’s real. The specific language that I use for this will be covered in a future post, but you can go listen to the ‘how to overcome the money issue‘ training that I did for my exact language.

2. Go back to the core need that you found in step 2 of the sponsoring sequence, and find out if the core need was real, or if it wasn’t. Find out if the need is real, if this problem was gone forever, is there anything else that they need to know before they got involved.

3. If the core need was real, answer the objection with a story (more on this in a future article). If the need wasn’t real, find out if they are serious, and if they are, find their real need again, and move forward in the process. (if you need to do this, you need to become more effective at building rapport and asking questions, because it’s a mistake in the sponsoring process, NOT an objection)

4. After you answer the objection, test to see if it solves the problem by asking them.

5. If it solves the problem, assume that they told you the truth, and begin the enrollment process with a statement like – ‘Awesome! It sounds like you’re ready to get started…’ OR ‘Are you near a computer right now?’ and then lead them through the Numis Network enrollment.

This works under a few assumptions, and they are:

1. You have a strong rapport, or ‘connection’ with your prospect

2. They are effectively pre-qualified.

3. You’ve found a core need.

4. You don’t care at all if they join or not,(important) you’re looking more to see ‘is there a potential business relationship here or not?‘ and you are sorting through to find the real ‘prospects’ that are out there for Numis. Please don’t try and overcome objections with people that aren’t prospects, because it’s annoying to the people, a waste of your time, is the core cause of frustration in Network Marketing, and makes people who are being professional have to overcome additional stigma. Professionals ‘sort’ and Amateurs try and ‘convince’.

There’s also a couple of other things to note about objections to Numis, and they fall under the ‘not real‘ objections, and that is the absolute idiots on the internet that bash Numis to get attention.

Now, I don’t want to mention the idiots by name, so I’ll use a couple of the ones who aren’t, but will illustrate the point.

For example, a lot of people think that Ty Tribble is giving a real objection to Numis when he bashes the company on his blog. Now I’m not saying that Ty Tribble is an idiot – I’m not saying that at all – I actually have a tremendous amount of respect for his skill set in marketing and his accomplishments in the industry – he has a niche that works well for him and the people in his team. Remember, Ty Tribble is not a prospect – he’s a leader in another Network Marketing company, and his primary purpose on his blog is to capture traffic and sponsor them into his own business. If Ty were a prospect, his statements would be easy to answer, but he’s not – so all of the Numis reps that are going out there trying to convince him that his opinions are wrong are really just wasting their time. When I first saw Numis, I wasn’t a prospect, and I did the exact same thing – and I couldn’t be reasoned with and I wouldn’t listen. (See my Numis Network Review for more details)

However, the situation changed, I became a real prospect, and when I looked at the facts, I had to admit that my statements were founded in ignorance, I was wrong, and the best thing to do was to make a decision to get involved with a company, a team, and a product that were destined for greatness.

With a real prospect, everything that Ty Tribble or the other guy – David Wilcoxson, who bashes Numis online can be overcome by simply showing them the correct information, and they have to realize that what we have is different than what they thought… Just realize the difference between the two kinds of people, and spend your time with the people that will help you grow your business (unless you just love wasting your time all day:) ).

The only other assumption that we need to work with in overcoming Numis Network objections is that it is better for people if they decide to become involved than if they don’t. If you have that belief, you’ll be able to move through anything that’s real.

What I just told you will move your ratios DRAMATICALLY higher if you ‘got it‘. Watch out for my next 2 or 3 articles for more specifics on sponsoring in the Numis Network, and if you really want to learn how I do it – go ahead and opt in to the form that you see on the right of this page, go through my free 8 day bootcamp, and apply what you learn in your own business.

I’ll see you at the top.

Guys, I did this presentation on my trip to Alaska, totally off the cuff and I’ll have to say that it was probably one of the coolest things I ever have come out with to teach people how to really create wealth in the industry of Network Marketing. This isn’t just something that you’ll want to watch – you’ll want to take some notes and really think hard about some things that you’ve believed for a long, long time.

I’ve been hesitating to write this review for the last week, because of the controversy and pain of dealing with all of the comments that reviews of this nature create, but because of certain things that I said over the last couple of months, I find that it would be useful to bring out in the open a discussion of ‘The Numis Network‘ from the perspective of someone who not only thought he’d never join, but was an open, public critic of the company.

The Numis Network Is An Interesting Animal:

It’s actually funny to watch the emotional, knee jerk reactions that both myself, and hundreds of other people have had to this company. Numis seems to spark more controversy, critics, and on the flip side – fanatical promoters than any MLM company that has emerged either on or off the internet for the last 20 or 30 years.

In fact, when I first became aware of the company, I thought it was the stupidest thing that I had ever seen. I wrote a review bashing it, told people not to join it, told people I didn’t think it would last, and here’s the funny thing…

…I gave people a million and one reasons why they shouldn’t buy numismatic coins – as if I knew something about the industry and was some kind of coin expert.

Sound familiar?

Sometimes the responsibility of a leader in this industry, and also a leader in life is to be willing to step down and admit that he is wrong. The fact is, as a leader in this industry, I should have never, ever criticized a company that I knew so little about – however, I wanted to take some time to address some of the specific criticism that I brought out, AND that has been raised by others.

“So Why The Heck Does Numis Attract So Much Criticism?”

The first thing that I would like to address is why The Numis Network creates such dramatic criticism in the first place, something that if you’ve found your way to this review, you’ve probably noticed. In fact, never in the last seven years in this industry have I ever seen a company that creates such massive controversy. I recently found out that hundreds of industry leaders privately thought that my last company, iLearningGlobal, wouldn’t last – but for some reason no one criticized it, ever.

In fact, not only did they not criticize it, there was no information on the internet, anywhere, from anyone who wasn’t a distributor. (The reason is, I later found out, I had one of only two teams in the company that was actually growing, so no one really cared about it – they all thought it would just fizzle out, which it did).

The reality is – people criticize what they don’t understand and they are afraid of. Why would someone be afraid of Numis? Because it’s growing so fast that people from all kinds of Network Marketing companies are both joining, and taking their downline with them. When I was in iLearningGlobal, I got 5-10 phone calls a day for a month straight asking my opinion on The Numis Network, and I had someone quitting my business and joining it at least every 3 days. I promise you, that the reason people, ESPECIALLY who know absolutely nothing about the company (which is most of them), are simply afraid that their downline is going to leave, and for good reasons.

I wanted to take a second to publicly apologize for being an ‘ignorant‘ scaredy cat.

“What About The Coins? Aren’t They A Rip-Off?”

One of the funniest things about network marketers who take a look at Numis is the questions that they ask that they never bring up about any other company in the industry.

For example, I was talking to a distributor in a juice company last week who said ‘I would never buy over-priced coins‘, and at the same time they were both selling and buying a couple hundred dollars worth of juice per month – amounting to a grand total of about two gallons of product.

Now, I would never criticize a juice company, and I buy some of those products myself – but does that even make sense as a distributor in this industry? From a consumer perspective, it’s a valid question – but if you’re in network marketing, don’t be crazy. In my last company, I was marketing a personal development service that cost $179 per month where you could get almost all of the information on YouTube for free – and hundreds of new people were subscribing on a monthly basis who felt that it was worth it. When I was in my last company, I was spending $250 per month on an auto-ship for about the same amount of vitamins that I could get at my local health food store for $50. Now, they may have been BETTER vitamins – but let’s stop being hypocrites, ok?

The amount of people on the internet that have never made a dime in network marketing that all of the sudden claim to be ‘coin’ experts is astounding. Did you know that no-one ever made a statue to celebrate the accomplishments of someone who wasted their day criticizing things they don’t understand?

So what about the actual value of the product? The ‘value’ of a product is what someone is willing on a large scale to pay for it – it’s a simple phenomenon of supply and demand. The reality that I didn’t want to admit when I took a look at the company – because I was never a coin collector – is that the Numismatic product niche is a $100 billion worldwide market, and one of our partners, Mike Mezack, PERSONALLY does more than $100 million in sales for this exact product annually – and there are hundreds of thousands of people who are more than happy to pay for it.

There was a guy in my old team (no-mentioning names here, because he’s a cool guy) who went off on me about how it’s ‘unethical‘ to sell numismatic coins and he could never do it because of his fantastic ‘ethics‘. Well, it just so happens that this guy has also never made more than maybe $100 a month in network marketing, and in five months sponsored a grand total of one distributor, and every single other person that he had in his team – I personally put there, for a grand total of about 15 people. Now, I LIKE this guy – he’s cool, and I do believe he can and will succeed in this industry (or I wouldn’t have put people in his team), but don’t give me bull-crap.

If you’re going to claim to have some kind of superior ‘ethics’ – don’t talk to me about it until you have some results to show. My ethical friend there is now selling water for $50 a case. (***As a note – I love the water deal, and will probably buy some – and I’m not talking about my friend John, who is a great leader who I believe will eventually make a million a year in this industry and who HAS sponsored a LOT of people – I’m just pointing out a general inconsistency that is created out of fear of failure). If you’re going to claim ‘ethics’ don’t pretend you’re a leader if you have never made $200 a month in network marketing.

“Is Numis An Investment? David X Seems To Say That Numis Reps Are ‘Claiming’ It’s an investment.”

One of my biggest hang ups when I first looked at The Numis Network was that I just couldn’t figure out why someone would pay $99 for a coin that had around $18 of silver in it. I was looking at it through the eyes of a precious metal investor – and the fact is, that I had never even watched an entire business presentation from the company and I had no idea what the word ‘numismatic’ meant.

Funny enough, when I finally did, I noticed that not just once, but at least three times throughout the course of the presentation, that not only did the rep specifically mention that Numis is NOT an investment, but that there was a whole five minute section of the presentation dedicated to explaining the exact difference between an ‘investment’ and a ‘collectible’.

Because we can legally make a statement ‘historically, the value of these coins has increased’ DOES NOT mean we are even remotely claiming that it is some kind of investment – so stop being an idiot. David X is known now in our inner circle as ‘The Coin Messiah’ or ‘TCM’ because of his desire to ‘save everyone‘ from buying numismatics. (As a side note – I like David, and I don’t think he’s intentionally being ignorant – I think he’s just spoken out and now maybe his pride is in the way).

See, once I actually saw the presentation, I got it right away – because I’ve been collecting things my whole life. When I was about 8 years old, I started collecting comic books, and today that collection is probably worth $20-$30 thousand dollars. If I told you ‘historically, comic books have gone up in value…’ would you think that I was an investment advisor?

No. So stop trying to pretend that Numis reps are proposing investments, when on every page of our websites, and for five minutes in the presentation we explain the exact difference between investments and collectibles. Collectibles DO go up in value, it might not be in 5 years, 10, or even 15, but my dad had a mint condition copy of Spiderman #1 – which I believe is worth over $100,000 because over time, collectibles get more rare.

Do you see how silly the whole ‘investment’ objection is? It doesn’t even remotely make sense unless you’re trying to say that the company does the EXACT OPPOSITE of what is right on the front of their websites.

“Hasn’t This Been Tried Before? I Knew A Guy Who’s Best Friends Dad Lost His Shirt In A Coin Deal”

No. In fact, when I looked into the company – I thought that it had because I’ve seen ‘Gold and Silver’ deals go under before. The critical difference is that those companies were dealing in an entirely different product niche – they were marketing ungraded bullion coins for an unwarranted mark-up in price.

In fact, I’ve sponsored several people into Numis that were in ‘Gold Unlimited’ in the 90′s, and from what I understand, what we do couldn’t be further from what has happened in the past. The Numis Network markets Gold and Silver NUMISMATIC coins graded by the three most respected grading agencies in the world, and we market a LEGITIMATE product that people are already spending money on – at competitive market prices – which is not just different from what you have seen – it is an entirely different kind of industry from anything that has hit the Network Marketing model in the last 120+ years of this industry.

We are a ‘first mover’.

“Isn’t The ‘Executive Kit’ Just An Excuse To Pass Money Around?”

One of the things that I criticized about the Numis Network when I first looked at it was that it seemed that 90% of the income came from something called a ‘coded’ bonus (which was an accurate assumption, it does). Well, the coded bonus is created from the sale of ‘The Executive Kit’ when you’re enrolling a distributor for $495 and they purchase the ‘Fast Track Collectors Kit’. Len Clements, a well known network marketing analyst, said that the value of the actual sign up is questionable, and that it could be viewed as something that just exists for the sake of compensation – which would be valid if there wasn’t actual, tangible value in the enrollment kit.

As a distributor who has purchased the kit – I can tell you nothing could be further from reality. Let me just give you a couple of examples.

In my last company, iLearningGlobal, I had to manually enter all of my distributor’s information into a contact management system just to be able to email my downline and keep them in the loop of what we’re doing as a team – a chore that took at a minimum 2, and usually 5 hours a week and cost me an extra $50 per month – or $600 per year.

Just ONE of the things that is included in that $495 signup is a BBS system that I would have gladly paid $495 for by itself just to save the time, not to mention the actual savings from the system itself as the team expands. I also had to completely design a sales funnel from the ground up in that company, where in Numis, they have a pre-designed custom internet marketing sales funnel that’s included, IN ADDITION to the most professional customer website I’ve ever had, a website that I have ACTUALLY had customers just go to and buy product because that Mike Mezack guy is so good at selling.

In fact – as a distributor, I’d have to say that the $495 distributor enrollment is going to save me $5,000 a year in pointless fees and systems that I would have to pay for elsewhere, but don’t need at all as a Numis rep – PLUS, you get a perfect Mint State 70 Silver American Eagle (retail value of $125) with the $495 distributor kit – so don’t give me crap, especially if you’re selling a $1000 package of vitamins you could buy for $200.

When I was in a vitamin company, I had to pay $1,000 for the vitamins when I joined and order another $500 in sales tools – and I GLADLY paid, because it made me money, I just don’t need any of that ‘extra’ stuff here – because it’s included. If you buy a Subway franchise, it costs over $20,000 PLUS you’ve got to pay overrides every month to the Subway corporation and rent real estate space and pay for employees – now THAT’S passing money around.

The ‘Numis Doesn’t Have Residual Income‘ Myth

When I first saw Numis, I called an industry leader (who shall remain anonymous), and asked him what he thought, and he said something that I thought was fascinating, he said ‘In my opinion, you can’t mark up a fixed priced product enough to pay a downline’.

Well, when I first wrote a review on Numis, I mentioned how the residual income is crappy because they are, in reality, only paying out about 30% of the ACTUAL MONEY SPENT on the flagship product – the MS70 Silver American Eagle. Well, I was right about the 30% part (they pay 50% of BV, and there is 60 BV points from one MS70 Silver Coin that costs $99).

You see, I was comparing the payout of Numis to the payout of juice companies, vitamin companies, and my company, which range from 40%-60%, and I pointed out how, magnified over a team of thousands of people, 30% seemed like a lot less money.

Well, if retention rates were all the same, that would be completely true, and if Numis didn’t have a coded bonus (more on that in a bit), you would need quite a lot of people to make a significant monthly income. What I wasn’t admitting, however, is the whole myth of residual income in most companies isn’t really true, anyways.

For example, in my last company, I was told we had a company wide retention rate of 93%, which if it had been 100% accurate, the residuals from that product would have been absolutely astounding. What I wasn’t aware of, though, that I found out when the company closed down, is that we ACTUALLY had a 93% monthly retention rate (big difference), and that in the Network Marketing industry, 93% monthly retention is actually pretty good. (Now to be fair on myself, I think I had a bit better retention than average, but still…)

I built a team of around 1000 people in a well known vitamin company, years ago, and today I still have that business – THE ONLY people that are still on an autoship are people that had life changing product experiences. All of the ‘I take vitamins, and feel great’ people have canceled their product orders, one by one and now there is a grand total of MAYBE 30-40 people who got ‘cured’ of something for taking them (don’t tell the FDA).

I talked to Ray Higdon, one of the founding distributors here at The Numis Network, and he’s been a distributor for around 8 months at the time of this writing and has had right around a 94% total persistency for 8 months in his business – that’s A LOT better than a 93% MONTHLY retention, and a LOT better than you’ll get in any vitamin company in the world.

Sometimes, LESS is more – as is the case with this. Why aren’t people canceling their autoship? I guess there’s something that’s cool and attractive about getting pure, Mint Condition Gold and Silver coins in the mail every month – people don’t feel like they’re spending money, they feel like they’re purchasing a valuable collection of assets – BIG difference.

Here’s the COOL thing… Residuals are just an ‘EXTRA’ bonus in The Numis Network…

So people are keeping their auto-ship (because getting Gold and Silver in the mail is ‘cool‘ or for whatever reason – it’s still happening, which is getting me pumped just thinking about it) – but here’s the best part about Numis…

…residuals are just ‘extra’ here. You see, in most actual MLM companies, there are no residuals – incomes are formed and maintained by systems that keep people flowing in to the company faster than they leave – that’s not residual income, it’s ‘promotional’ income. REAL residuals in most companies are actually quite small (with a few big exceptions), because people don’t like being on auto-ships – so when they decide not to build a downline, they cancel their product order – which happens about 85% of the time within 12 months.

Well, in The Numis Network – people LIKE their autoship – because they’re building value every month – but aside from that – it’s totally irrelevant in my opinion, because the ‘Coded’ bonus pays so much danged money out if you’re growing at all – the residuals are just a nice, extra bonus. Let’s face it – residuals take forever to build, anyways, I want to make money now, don’t you?

If you’re critical of the coded bonus, I understand. I didn’t understand it either when I looked at it, and I didn’t know my history. The coded bonus was innovated by a company called Excel Telecommunications in the 90′s, which was the fastest growing MLM company in the history of America, hitting $1 billion in sales four times faster than Microsoft. The top earner in Excel earned $1.7 million per month for 18 months straight, 95% of which came from a ‘coded bonus’ written almost ‘exactly’ like the bonus in Numis.

(We’ve made some improvements, and we have residuals, too – which Excel just didn’t have…)

I can’t say exactly how much I made my first week in business – but I’ll tell you this – that ‘coded’ bonus made me more money in my first 14 days than I ever made in a month in my last MLM company after SIX MONTHS of aggressively building.

It’s VERY, VERY cool – and we pay it weekly.

…and if we’re going to talk about ‘ethics’, let’s talk about the ‘ethics’ of telling someone their is residual income when there is not. I’m so sick of people filling my head with crap in this industry – that it’s time for us ALL to set a new standard, don’t you think? How about the ethics of getting someone involved in an ‘opportunity’ that gives them a grand total ‘promotional’ check of $200 after they finally have their 200th person in their downline?

With Numis, people have the ability to generate commissions quickly, now that’s an ETHICAL business to promote – because let’s face it – we’re in this industry to create wealth…

…or are you just here to ‘piddle around‘?

My Final Thoughts

The reality is, even thought people aren’t willing to admit the simple truth – The Numis Network is growing like a wild, uncontrollable fire. In this, or any other profit driven industry – you can either get involved with an idea that is moving on it’s own, or you can do what I tried to do in my last venture – which is to FORCE an idea that nobody gets into the minds of the mass populace.

That’s hard – and it doesn’t work for the average person.

The Numis Network is hot. It’s moving. It’s easy for the average person to explain – COMMISSIONS can be generated quickly if you’re producing, and let’s face it…

…getting Gold and Silver in the mail every month is just cool. It’s almost like we have an extra paycheck once per month… We get paid weekly through all of our ways of earning – and monthly on an autoship of Gold and Silver.

As my good friend, Larry Beacham, a GREAT Network Marketing leader says:

“Everyone sells something – why not sell money?

Everyone collects something – why not collect money?”

Ha ha.

Let me tell you what I told Cedrick Harris and Brian Fanale the other day – I believe that The Numis Network is MY FIRST legitimate chance to build a team of 100,000 distributors in the network marketing industry – it’s the only thing that I’ve ever been a part of that ACTUALLY duplicates, and I’m just flat excited. My PRODUCT is money – and I’m proud of it. Let’s go out – and TRANSFORM the destiny of nations.

If you’re on the fence, get back to the person who invited you to view this article, and find out how you can lock in a spot. Timing in this, and in life, is critical. I’ll look forward to working with you.

Share The Inspiration By Hitting The ‘Tweet‘ Button =>

Today’s post is a little different. This is a tribute to the innovators of our industry and the creators of the original MLM systems that almost every successful MLM organization in the world has been based off of. They have the largest, most stable organizations in the history of our industry, and are more than three times the size of the next closest MLM giant.

That’s right my friends, business history was changed and inspired by none other than Amway.

(No, I’m not in Amway)…

…but I think that they’re pretty cool.

If you’re in the MLM industry and you don’t appreciate what Amway has done for our industry and Free Enterprise, it’s time to get educated and inspired by the most powerful ‘Dream Builders‘ in history.

When I was in my early 20′s, I got a hold of a tape series from the early 80′s called ‘Pigs Don’t Know Pigs Stink‘ that was done by an Amway distributor named Dave Severn. Ever since then, this has been my favorite audio I’ve ever listened to, and I’ve probably listened to it 200 times. When I built my first successful organization offline, I used to listen to this tape driving to every meeting I did for almost 2 years, just to get pumped.

I just popped it in the other day again, and decided it was time for the world to hear. This is going to probably be the only place you’ll ever find this, because I had to transfer it from a ratted out 1980′s audio tape to MP3… It’s about 3-4 hours, but you’ll be inspired to an entirely new level if you take the time to listen, because what Amway has done better than any company in the world has been to ‘Build the Dream’…

Listen In By Hitting The ‘Play’ Button Now. Enjoy:

I wanted to just take a minute to thank Dave Severn for producing one of the most inspirational audios that I’ve ever heard in my life. There were many times when the only thing that kept me inspired was listening to an old ratted out Amway tape on the way to someones home, and that’s what our industry is all about.

Inspiration.

Speaking the dream.

Having a vision.

Moving people.

Is your dream BIG enough?

-David Wood

P.S. Be sure to leave your thoughts on this one and share it. I think it will open your mind a bit to what’s possible in our industry. Dave Severn has been living the dream in our industry since the early 80′s, and now has more than a half million people in his organization. What can you do?

As a keen observer, I have noticed that lately there has been a sudden buzz about Rain Nutrition. The community, even more of those in the marketing industry, has been captured of the opportunity that the said company is about to give. Along with this are the stories of course are the typical ‘MLM naysayers’ saying that Rain Nutrition is a scam.

Well, in this article, let me tackle the truth about Rain nutrition and see if it is a scam, or a legitimate home based business.

Rain Nutrition is a new MLM that registered their domain in May 2009. The said company offers two primary products, soul and rush. The first product, soul, will be competing in the health and wellness market while the second product will be competing the energy drink market. In relation to this, Rain Nutrition’s website states that their products have been developed in partnership with Dr. Arnold Leonardo. The purpose of the said partnership is to create a world class line of nutritional products that will continue to expand along with the demands of the market.

From that, it can be considered that the opportunity that Rain Nutrition is about to offer is both unique and provocative. But will it live up to the hype?

Let’s move on with the compensation plan and see what they have to offer.

As what Rain Nutrition claims, they offer a generous plan. On a weekly basis, Rain Nutrition pays out its distributors a guaranteed fifty percent of all commissionable volume. So distributor’s income depends on the sales he will make. If a distributor is able to make lots of product sales and recruits other sales reps to do the same thing as he does, he can make a large stream of income. This is a common compensation plan in the nutritional industry and has been proven an effective means of growing a profitable company, and compensating the distributor force at the same time.

In conclusion, Rain Nutrition isn’t a scam. Instead, it’s just a new MLM Company trying to establish its credibility by offering individuals an opportunity to make money.

However, like any profession, it’s not the company that makes an individual successful. If you want success in Rain Nutrition, you need the right set of knowledge & skills and COACHING from people who actually know what they’re doing. Yes, an individual has to have a well established foundation of marketing techniques for him to have an edge in the marketing industry and be able to sponsor 10-20 reps a month.

After all, this is a marketing industry, so a parallel set of knowledge is the most important one. If you want to learn EXACTLY how I sponsored 39 reps last month into my company, and how you can take that same exact knowledge and DOMINATE Rain Nutrition (or any other company, for that matter) online, fill in your name, email, and phone number on the form on the right of this page. I’ll look forward to helping you prosper in your company.

Since 1992, USANA has been manufacturing and distributing products all over the world. It’s always interesting to me when I get questions from people who are asking whether or not an MLM company is a scam.

With USANA, the answer is definately no, but before I continue in this article I just wanted to give you a quick disclaimer. I’m not affiliated with USANA in any way, I don’t use their products, and I don’t sponsor people into a USANA downline. However, I’ve been involved with the MLM profession for the last seven years and I can tell you from experience some things that you wouldn’t be able to see on the surface.

To people who are at all familiar with Network Marketing laws that have been established in the USA for more than 30 years, it becomes obvious quite quickly that USANA is not only an excellent Network Marketing company, but that they fall within all of the legal requirements of a legitimate home based business in every established economy in the world.

Not only does USANA meet with strict FTC guidelines, but they have won several international awards for their compensation plan, products, and how they treat their sales force. Quite frankly, USANA is a positive force in the MLM profession world wide and many companies would do good to envy the work that they’ve done over the last 17 years.

This question generally stems from a lack of understanding of the legal parameters for MLM businesses in the United States, and mistaking a legitimate Multi Level Marketing opportunity with a Pyramid Scam. Most people who don’t understand law haven’t taken the time to study the background behind the cases that took place in the early 70′s in the USA. You just have to look at a few aspects of USANA to know that they provide legitimate value to the market place.

First of all, they have an excellent science based product. This is one aspect of USANA that no one can touch. There are more scientific articles written about USANA’s nutritional products than almost any other vitamin company on Earth. I don’t even use their products (although I’m thinking about it), and I can’t deny this.

Second, their compensation plan has one of the most balanced payouts in the MLM industry. While I don’t particularly like binary compensation plans (they’re just not my preference) they have been proven to work with excellent results in the MLM industry over the last 10 years, and USANA has a pay plan with higher average earnings than almost any company that exists. This compensation plan has been tested against all international regulations and stands on it’s own.

Third, look what the actual distributors who have been with the company a long time are saying about it. It’s a pretty rare phenomenon to run into a company with such raving reviews from even the people who aren’t earning the big checks. The verdict is simple – USANA is NOT a scam.

If you’re going to become involved in the USANA business, rather than wasting your time wondering whether or not this business model is a scam, it would greatly benefit you to learn instead the critical skills that you need to understand to take your USANA business to the next level, and recruit your first distributors.

The biggest thing I can recommend if you're going to join USANA is that you learn how to MARKET your business in a way that removes resistance in your prospects, and you'll find that you get less objections in your marketing process.

Is USANA a good business opportunity? Over the last seven years in the MLM industry, I’ve had hundreds of people approach me about becoming involved in the USANA business. Obviously being actively involved in the Network Marketing community makes this happen to me more than others, but for your benefit I wanted to give an unbiased review of the USANA business from an opportunity perspective.

First, there are a few areas that you need to evaluate an older company like USANA before you get involved. USANA started in 1992, and has been marketing high quality nutritional products all around the world for more than 17 years at the time of this writing, and they certainly have a profitable track record.

There are some definite potential upsides to being involved in an older company like USANA, and there are some downsides. While quality branding and company age definitely have a plus in giving you a general feeling of stability, it’s a well known fact that it takes a significantly increased amount of work to sponsor people into an older company than it is to bring them on board a newer organization.

The benefits of USANA are clear. They have a scientifically based, peer reviewed product that stands on its own, independent of the compensation plan or ability to earn income. One of the biggest problems that MLM distributors have is they often get involved with companies just because they can make a lot of money, but when it comes down to it, the product just isn’t worth the price.

With USANA, you are in the hands of an expert team of scientists who know how to keep their products on the cutting edge of nutritional research. However, if you’re looking at an opportunity, the product isn’t all that matters.

Often times, I’ve been pitched by USANA distributors who think that a great product and an ok comp plan are reason enough to be in business, and nothing could be further from the truth. I like to take a look at market size and market penetration, and evaluate a business from an opportunity to competition stand point.

When I look at USANA from an opportunity standpoint, I would have much rather became involved in the early 90′s or even at the turn of the century. While it would be a fairly simple thing to become involved in USANA and make a few thousand dollars a month retailing their excellent nutritional products, creating passive wealth through leveraging the efforts of thousands of people is a much more difficult task because of nutritional MLM market saturation.

The fact is, that although the nutritional industry is nearing a trillion dollars, people have been pitched so many times by nutritional companies that there is an immediate subconscious resistance to listening to nutritional MLM opportunity presentations. I’m not saying that because I don’t like these companies, I’m simply being unbiased.

Even though USANA is backed by rock solid science, people still see it as another vitamin company. Now this is an objection that can be overcome through a good exposure process, and I certainly use a lot of products from different nutritional MLM companies, but you just have to look at it like a business decision.

Do you want to build an organization where you have to overcome a massive amount of unconscious resistance? Or would you rather build your business in a way that is attractive to the general public?

The biggest thing I can recommend if you’re going to join USANA is that you learn how to MARKET your business in a way that removes resistance in your prospects, and you’ll find that you get less objections in your marketing process. Personally, I’ve found that I can take my skill sets in marketing and sponsor 2-3 people per day into any business that I choose, but it took me a long time to develop those skills and the fact is that I wouldn’t want to have to develop them in an environment where there was an increased sales resistance due to an over saturated market.

There IS money to be made in USANA, but decide for yourself whether it’s a good business or not. Just whatever you do, learn the essential skills that will enable you to create massive profitability, remove sales resistance, and sponsor people without overcoming stupid objections all day and night.

The cool thing about how I build my business is that it works in any company, and if you’ve got a great product to market and a killer compensation plan, you’ll rock the world of any opportunity you join, and it doesn’t even matter if you’ve never succeeded in MLM before. Fill out the form on the right of this page to learn my exact sponsoring process over the next 8 days.

One of the biggest mistakes that many people who are new to the Vemma business make is that they don’t train their team properly, in a way that produces dramatic and lasting results. Too often, Vemma distributors assume that they can just get started, recruit a bunch of people, and that they will automatically start getting huge monthly residual checks.

Also, there’s a problem with the way a lot of distributors in Vemma train where they sponsor only a few distributors into their team, and they assume that they can baby thier team and be successful in the company from the efforts of just a handful of people.

The biggest message you should get from this article is that when you’re training your new Vemma distributors, you need to learn to have a balance between personal production and training or you’re not going to acheive dramatic and lasting success with the company.

One of the advantages of the Vemma opportunity is that there is a binary compensation plan, meaning that you only have two teams to focus on when you’re building your business. However, just because you only have to build two teams doesn’t mean that you can build a Vemma business by only recruiting and training two people. If your team doesn’t see you personally producing, they will stop producing themselves. Let me give you 3 tips that will help you stay on task, and train your Vemma team at the same time.

1. Focus 80% or more of your attention on personally sponsoring new Vemma distributors. If you’re focused on anything but recruiting, your team will copy you and stop recruiting themselves. The first step to training your Vemma team is to set an example by producing enough personally.

2. Focus 19% of your attention on training your new people to get them up and running. If you focus too much of your attention on new people, you won’t have time to be productive in your business, but if you don’t put enough energy into them, they’ll never get the details of the business and they’ll quit before they start. Most of your training should revolve around proven methods to sponsor new distributors, since that is the lifeblood of your whole Vemma business.

3. Only focus 1% of your attention on details, and outsource the rest to more capable individuals. This is one of the most important things that leaders do in Vemma, they stay focused on production by allowing details to be handled by the company and the customer support team. The only way to stay focused on building a business is to outsource the details to others.

Notice that 99% of all of the attention I have allocated is towards productive activities that increase your bottom line. You need to focus in Network Marketing if you ever intend on creating long term, residual income, and training your Vemma distributors by being productive yourself is no exception to the rule.
