5. Local Business Model
This model is probably the most guaranteed way of making a living with webinars. Local businesses are happy to shell out thousands of dollars for even the possibility of more customers. They are always willing to spend money on advertising and or new marketing strategies.
A lot of local businesses already know how powerful webinars can be for closing clients. So you can record a promotional webinar for a local business and charge $250-$2000 for it. Let’s say you persuade a local dentist to shell out $500 for your webinar service. All you would have to do is create and record a webinar presentation that sells the dentist’s service.
You could talk about the benefits of having great teeth and even tell a story of how the dentist transformed your life from a few treatments. You get the idea, just record webinar presentations. There’s not much difference between them and normal video presentations. With webinars, you can set them up to play say 1 time per week automatically. So on the dentist’s site there could be a form saying register for our weekly webinar which goes over all the details you need to get started with our treatment.
A visitor would then input their details and be registered. At the time specified, the visitor would be emailed or even sent a text reminder to join the webinar 10 minutes before it starts. The webinar would commence automatically and the visitor along with any others would attend. It’s great marketing – if you can explain that to local businesses then you’re in business!
6. The Auto Webinar JV Model
This model is definitely the most automated. With this model, you take a successful webinar and re-use it again and again with JV partners. Having a successful webinar is like owning your own product. It’s like an asset; you own the rights to the webinar and can leverage it in many ways. The big difference is that it doesn’t matter whether the webinar is promoting your own product or someone else’s. Also, most marketers would much rather send their subscribers to a webinar instead of a basic sales page.
Webinars are entertaining events, but do the same things sales pages do. Anyway, let’s say you have your own product and you do a webinar about it. You do the webinar live, make hundreds of sales and think crap, that was a great webinar. You can take that webinar and set it up with an automated webinar player. So you can set your webinar to play at set times and run it just like a live webinar, but it won’t actually be live.
All you have to do is approach marketers with big email lists and show them proof that your webinar converts like crazy. You can breakdown the numbers, explain what the product is about and how if the person you’re approaching can get 1000 attendees, they’ll probably make $10,000 in sales. You can give people those exact estimates based on a webinars past performances. So you can approach marketers and pitch the idea to them. All they have to do is send out an email promoting the “live webinar”.
For a better effect, you can edit the intro of the webinar to custom fit every JV partner. Let’s say you find John who agrees to send his subscribers to your webinar. You could cut out the first 5-10 minutes and record a new intro talking about John and how you have this special webinar just for his subscribers. Using an automated live webinar player, it’s easily done.
